I'm actually surprised that the lights failed. Like most people, I expected the protection plan to expired before the item failed. But these are LED lights and how many of them actually last the 10,000 hours they promise? The lights may last forever but their power supplies deal with power line fluctuations every day. I'm holding onto the failed light in case they request it back
