Green and purple clipping options had some kind of gain structure digital clipping problem. The blue and amber options worked better but it was like the internal level was set to high, causing clipping in some part of the digital circuit and a terrible, garbled sound. Functionality was OK, couldn't match the EQ or warmth of an ordinary TS pedal. Probably would have been nice as a second/third stage overdrive but as a base tone I'm not sure. Mine also seemed to have a really loud noise floor, like the compression was set wrong. The pedal had the classic TS 'push' but it seemed to be applied to the noise floor instead of the actual tone of the guitar. In other words, the sound sounded 'pushed' but the playing sounded open and dynamic, this created a situation that resulted in very fast ear fatigue, I couldn't play it very long. For a $300 boutique overdrive this sort of QA mistake not only reinforces how much I dislike digital drives/SMD circuits but doesn't motivate me to try again either.
