I was very pleased with the process from my first contact with Asurion to file my repair claim to receiving my camera back fully functional and ready to go. The repair vendor returned my equipment in fully-protective packaging which was custom made for my equipment. This was my first experience filing a claim with Asurion and they made it one to cherish. A small knob on my camera broke. I contacted Asurion, they emailed me a UPS package slip, I sent camera to Asurion via UPS. Had it back in 2 weeks, repaired. A very good experience. I am glad I had the 3 yr protection plan on my camera.

My Nikon D850 with Nikon 80-400mm took a bad fall on Dec. 16, 2024. I just received my repaired lens back from Nikon (it is Feb 26, 2025). It is insured with a different company. The camera has yet to even get into repair, although it was at Nikon Repair NY for 2 months, Asurion would not allow the MAKER OF THE CAMERA to do the repair. They made me get it returned (got it today) and they want me to ship it to their 3rd party repair shop instead. Many phone calls later, it is still a pain every time I talk to them. New Leaf (other company) was a breeze. They kept me constantly informed and were courteous and helpful. I have lost $$$ in jobs, and Asurion is just dragging their feet. DONT USE THEM - YOU WILL BE SORRY.
