Purchased coverage for my Sony RX10 IV camera. 11 months later, as we were unpacking from a road trip, the camera banged rather hard against the car. As a result what turned out to be the lens control unit was damaged and the camera became inoperable. I had a 'chat' with Ascurion online. That person was remarkably helpful and helped me file a claim which was then approved in minutes. The only glitch in the whole process involved getting my correct contact info into their system. But again, another remarkably helpful and responsive person helped work that out. After that I simply followed their instructions and 5 days after Asurion received it by UPS it was returned in great working shape. Asurion lived up to its promises. Well worth the price for major purchases!

Easy to call for service and get squared away in just a few minutes. Fast and free shipping door to door. Staff is extremely helpful. Camera was damaged and total time from call to receiving fully restored camera was just 10 days. They cleaned and made sure entire camera was functioning as good as new. First time I've ever had and insurance company go above and beyond and deliver more than they promised.

And guess what? The there a problem with a $750.00 camera that I still use...the camera failed... the lens would not retract...Nothing worked...I was heart broken...vacation coming up... and no dough that I had to shell out to get it fixed...So.. I pulled up the warranty... sent it to the address they provided..And before you know it, it was back!!! And it still takes GREAT pictures!!! I hope I never have to use it form new camera...But it's reassuring to know they have your back!!! Smart Investment!

I use Asurion for all my expensive possessions and they really deliver the peace of mind that I am looking for in order to transport and use them without the worry of “what if?” The one time I did experience a problem with my assured product, the process was simple and my problem was solved. Highly recommended. Even if you never need to get something repaired or replaced, the peace of mind alone is worth it.

I have yet to use this for the drone that I purchased but it is a great peace of mind. I have Asurion insurance through T-Mobile for my Samsung S-9 and have used it for a cracked screen. They were extremely fast 1 day shipping of a refurbished phone and sim card. I didn't need the sim card but was nice to be sent out just in case. The phone looked and operated as if brand new! The instructions provided were helpful and easy to understand.
