Not insurance. This doesn’t cover you from day one. Do NOT buy this insurance. My sons scooter stopped working 3 months after I purchased it, I purchased this coverage because it said it covered the scooter from day 1, not true, they sent me right back to Segway; dealing with Segway is a nightmare. That’s why I purchased the additional insurance.

They weren’t able to fix my scooter but they gave me a refund via an amazon gift card. It only sucked because i wanted it fix but a refund is just as satisfying an easy process. Took a few days to process everything.

I attempted to file a warranty claim as the steering wheel on my daughters ride on toy broke in the first week. Asurion claimed it was Amazon's responsibility to refund me and offered little help. UPDATE- Asurion is an absolute scam. My daughter broke the steering wheel accidently while normal driving her ride on jeep. When asked how the damage occurred, I informed them of such. They told me my policy was denied. I asked what the policy covered and was told accidental damage. I informed them the breaking of the steering wheel was accidental to which they claimed I had said was not the case earlier in our conversation. They are absolute scam artist.
