My product experienced hardware failure right outside the manufacturer warranty and Asurion had me covered. I contacted them and their automated system sent me a shipping label. As soon as I packaged the item, and it was scanned by the delivery service, I received an Amazon Gift Card balance for the price I paid for it. It was fast, simple and painless on my end. I strongly recommend using Asurion on items that are notorious for defects (video game controllers in particular, stick drift is so common) or short living function.
