Do not waste your time purchasing this protection plan from Asurion. They do not stand behind their policies and look for any reason to not replace your broken product! I have purchased around 8 or 9 policies for products here on amazon and this is the first time I have had to file a claim. At this current moment I have been waiting 2 weeks for resolution, I have had a repair guy come out to my house, claim he could not repair the appliance because he couldn't get the part, then Asurion has been delaying replacing the product, now after two weeks I called them for a update and they inform me they will not replace the Ice maker because they claim it was caused by calcium from not cleaning the product, which is complete false, I clean this machine constantly, I have followed the regiment established by the appliance company, I even purchased their cleaning solution. I only used filtered water in the unit. So this is a complete cop out by Asurion. Never again will I fall for their protection gimmick. ... show more

Very quick and easy they told me they would refund my money and it would take 2 to 3 business days and I had the money about 15 minutes after I got off the phone on my Amazon account. Very good service.

    • Easiest warranty claim ever
I called, was connected to a person right away. Told them my issue and I figured I would have to send the item in for service. Within a minute of being on the phone with the the entire purchase price was added to my Amazon balance. It was that easy

    • Can’t get anyone to help me
My Gilati ice maker has quit working..I received it 8-9-24. & it quit working 10-25-24…I took out Asurion insurance for $139.95 & can’t get anyone to respond to me …needless to say I am beyond frustrated !! I want a replacement but cannot find anyone to speak with or answer my text!
