These pans are lighter than I expected. That makes moving them around easier. I worried that a thinner bottom might lead to uneven heating but I haven't had any problems with them. The small pot has a long handles so you can grab it without getting too close to the hot pot. The others have two handles on the sides. They can go into the oven so are perfect for something like a frittata though these aren't non-stick pans. There were no instructions for how to attach the handles to the lids but a quick look at the picture made it fairly obvious. ... show more

This set of pots is perfect for everyday use. The skillet is great for searing meat or sautéing vegetables, while the saucepot is a good choice for cooking veggies, boiling eggs or making sauces. The small saucepan with the long handle is just the right size for melting butter, heating sauces, and even taking out to the grill for barbecue sauce. The long handle lets you position it over the grill's edge so that it can stay cooler. Two of the pans have short handles on either side. This makes them fit nicely on my induction burner without their handles hanging over the side. (And yes, the pans all work great on induction stovetops!) The pans are made of highly polished stainless steel which makes them easy to clean. They don't have any dangerous non-stick coatings and are dishwasher safe. Because they're not coated with non-stick chemicals, I can use any type of utensils, including metal spatulas, flippers, spoons and ladles, etc. There's no need to protect the surface by using silicone tools. The vented glass lids help to prevent evaporation during cooking and keep foods warm when I remove the pan from heat. And the fact that they're oven safe means I can finish off a dish in the oven if needed. This is a nice-looking cookware set. They are affordable and are just the perfect size for everyday use. The cookware heats up evenly and quickly. And because they're lightweight, washing them is easy and not at all heavy. I like the glass lid that allows me to quickly check the cooking progress. Another favorite feature is the pressure/heat release hole because I can simmer food without removing the lid (no boil over at all), plus keep all that heat inside. My criticism is that the handles didn't stay cool as advertised (minus 1 star for that) and one of the lids has a tiny black stain. Having said that, I do recommend this set. ... show more

I liked the look of this set because it matched some of my other cookware. Assembling the set was easy and everything was packaged very well. The set looks really nice; it's highly polished and the glass lids look great. The description didn't give the size of the pots and I found the large pot was too shallow. I don't see me getting much use out of the large pot but the other two get used. ... show more

    • Great pot set for infrequent cookers
I am not a big fan of cooking and usually resort to takeout as I live alone and work long shifts. While I cook infrequently, I still need a basic set of pots. These are super versatile so I save on space and don't need a huge cook set to get some simple meals done. They are really well made which was a great surprise as I was not expecting anything grand given it's price point. The covers are glass so you got to be a bit careful but I do like that it has vent holes. They are also stainless steal so they should last me some time but keep in mind it will show scratches if you use anything too abrasive when cleaning it. ... show more

They are light weight yet are advertised as being excellent at spreading the heat around and keeping food from sticking (I haven’t had a chance to test that yet). They are very easy to put the handles and the kids are vented. The Teflon doesn’t look like that cheap stuff as other pots with this price point, which is a shocker. The handles are easy to grip and seem to be attached very well to the pots. I don’t see where these would be safe in the dishwasher, so I won’ wouldn’t try cleaning them that way, but they really don’t look like they’d be that hard to clean. This is an awesome starter set, or even a set to add to your existing pieces, of cookware!! They are light, but have held up surprisingly very well with consistent use over the past 2 months. This set of cookware truly is nonstick and has yet to stain or tarnish. I am not sure how well they would hold up being cleaned in the dishwasher as I prefer to hand wash my pots and pans. I didn't expect these to become my go to pots, but they certainly have earned their place in my favorites. Definitely worth the price and would make a great gift. ... show more

We use these pots and pans almost daily. Very durable. They have an insulated bottom for more even heat distribution. They were very easy to clean and looked very nice as well. This a great value for the money. These work just as well as our higher-end set for less than 1/4 of the price. I do recommend giving them a try. ... show more
