I was hesitant because I buy all my drapes from west elm or custom but I needed these in a pinch, I love the heavy velvet fabrics and their colors, mainly dark olive and tarragon. At $320 per set at west elm I thought I’d try these ones first and they did not disappoint! They are identical in touch and color and quality! The media could not be loaded. This is not actually velvet fabric, rather it is a microfiber fabric. It is not a super thick pile, low pile, but with the liner makes it feel a little more substantial. The liner does appear to be black out, but I have not tested it. The color is very dark green as it says black forest green and is probably the darkest green you'll find available to the masses at a decent price like this. If you want a luxurious, true velvet, this is not it, but for the money if you're looking for a dark green, I'd say it's acceptable. I purchased these to match a dark green sham from Ralph Lauren, that you can see in the top of the video. It matches pretty darn good and that was a really dark green sham. There is not a stiff buckram in the top, but rather a soft, very thin plastic shown in the third photo, which is hard to see through the opening that's small. I bought both Hunter green & Denver taupe because I couldn’t tell which green I wanted. The Hunter green is a deep olive green and the Denver one is a bit more muted green which I choose to keep. Both are very soft heavy. Hope these pictures helps people to decide what color to choose. 😊

I order ALOT of curtains. I am constantly changing my decor and I am always looking for quality. I have an obsession with the West Elm velvet curtains and have them in a few rooms. However I needed 6 curtains for my bedroom and well West Elm ones would have cost me well over 1k to ship. I have to say I am surprised by the quality of these curtains!
