The size is perfect for a midsize digital wall clock. I really like the feature that can turn the brightness up and down. Couldn't figure out how to have it in 12hr instead of 24hr but that isn't a big deal. Overall great purchase

1. When camping I simply lose track of what day it is. This clock keeps me on track! 2. Who wants to know what the date is while on vacation LOL, not me, but I appreciate it on this clock! 3. As I get older my eye sight gets worse and we LOVE the large print especially when waking in the middle of the night when your eye sight is most blurry. 4. We love that we can dim the clock at night so it’s not too bright in a dark room. I actually own 2 of these clocks.

This was exactly what I was looking for, but it is difficult to set. Once you commit to a setting good luck changing it. The manual buttons on the back aren't much help.

The unit is simple. Easy to setup and looks fine. However the unit does not come with a plug. It has a cord with a USB on the end but that's it. We live in a fairly new house which still has 110 outlets around the house so not sure why these manufacturers think you don't need a damn plug.

Due to the fact that here in a few weeks the timing will change from daylight savings to standard time this clock is right on point as it was ordered for all of the functions that it display. Being an individual that works the night shift, I can't tell you how many times I have jumped out of a deep sleep to get ready for work during the time when we are on standard time because it is dark when I leave for work and dark when I arrive home. During the fall and winter months when we are on standard timing, I have the luxury of leaving work early some nights due to low or no work. On some of those nights especially if I am really tired or have had a long and stressful week I would get off and come home and fall asleep on the couch. Waking up out of a deep sleep in the wee hours of the night have had me confused on what day it is and time because if you have never worked nights before, it seems that all of the days run together because it's one day when you go to work and another day when you get off. Because of this, I needed a clock not only to clearly specify the time in AM/PM but one that also gives the day of the week and temperature so I wouldn't have to spend 20 to 30 minutes trying to figure out the time and day of the week while trying to awake from a deep sleep. Well one day a few weeks ago, while strolling through AMZ I found the answer to my prayers. I chose this clock not only because it has all the information that I need but when displayed on the wall, the numbers and lettering are big and bright enough to where it can be seen from a distance. It also comes with a remote to where you can easily set not one (1) but two (2) alarms which basically forces me to get up and walk down the steps to cut it off. I particularly like the fact that is also displays the temperature. By knowing the temperature at the time, I leave the house for work allows me to properly dress for the weather being that I am not only a night worker but one that works in the weather. In the event I do wake up in the middle of the night on a night that I am off work or get off early, I now have the luxury of saving time of trying to figure out what day of the week it is or if it is AM/PM because all I have to do now is just simply get up walk down a few steps and take a glimpse at the clock and have all the answers to the questions I need in a matter of a few seconds. This 16IN wall display clock is very useful to me as a night worker and a vital and useful tool to have. If you have experienced some of the problems that I have mentioned above, I would definitely recommend investing in this clock because it is well worth the investment.
