Strengthens the hair by 6% after One application. Before Applying, it is important to: Cleanse the hair using As I Am JBCO Shampoo or Cowash. Spray As I Am JBCO Water Liberally. Apply either As I Am Classic or JBCO Leave-In Conditioner before coloring. Towel dry and leave hair damp (not dripping) before applying. Use gloves to apply color. Directions: Section hair off and apply to damp hair from root to tip. Use a generous amount based on thickness of hair. Twist or rake through hair for desired style. It did what it was intended to do, changed my hair color. My hair is currently black at the roots and blue at the tips. I applied the hair wax on dry week old hair. I didnt use gloves so naturally it was all over the place but easy to wash out. When it dries it doesnt tranfer to clothes or anything so I really loved that. My hair ended up light brown on top and bits of green here and there because of the blue already in my hair. Smells amazing too! ... show more

I want to preface this by saying I have loved every As I Am product I’ve ever used. Except for this one, lol. It smells great, and that’s honestly all I liked about it. It transfers A LOT while your hair is drying, strongly recommend you use a towel or cape around your shoulders if you decide to use this product. I used it for a wash and go, and it took my hair about an extra 30-45 minutes to dry. Once dry it transferred significantly less, but it made my hair have that crunchy gel feel which I do NOT like. If you like definition over volume, this is the product for you. I could barely tell the difference with this stuff once I was out and about and I was left a little disappointed. I will try again with a different approach, but my first impression isn’t a great one. ... show more

To begin with, the inner seal was punctured like someone tried to use it although the outside cap was intact but the outer seal was moved. I bought it for my mom, even though she has very thin and short hair it took almost the whole jar to see color change and then the color transferred to all clothes and bed sheets and the hair was very stiff and now it is more brittle than before, I should have returned as soon as I got it but I though it was worth it to give it a try. definitely possible that I need to try again, but this just did not hit the mark for me. The color is literally gold, so do not expect anything different. I used all As I Am products for a flexi rod set, the product took a VERY (more than a full day, even after hood dryer) long time to dry and did not hold for me. Of course, this could also be due to the texture of my hair I did not experience much color transfer, so that was great. But, I washed this out literally the next morning, which was also easy to do. I did two washes to be sure the product was out, but the majority definitely washed out on the first go around. Wishing you a better experience :) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. i absolutely love this!!! i wanted a honey blond color without commitment and damaging my curls and this 100% did that! I will be buying again!
