I rarely write reviews, but this filter absolutely deserves one. My aquarium had a full-blown algae bloom—thick, murky green water that looked like a swamp. It was stressing out my fish and my little freshwater lobster, who suddenly stopped exploring and just hid all day. I was desperate for help. Enter this filter: within 24 hours, the water looked halfway normal. By 48 hours, it was crystal clear. I honestly wish I had taken before-and-after photos—the transformation was that dramatic. The difference is mind-blowing. It was super easy to install, and when I emailed the company with a question about the UV bulb, they replied almost immediately with kind, helpful customer service. Update 4 days later: I put this in on 5/16/25. 20 hrs later, there was a visible change but day 3 we were in shock. Today is day 4 and I'm flabbergasted. I can actually see my son's wall again. 🤣 Original Post: you're like me and no nothing about fish tanks and filters BUT IT NOW; LOL but I'm serious. We have gone through 2 filter pumps and various types of filters trying to keep this tank clean! It's been 20 hours since I installed this system into my son's tank; he has 5 bettas (all females so no drama). We cleaned this tank 6 days ago and the day after the water was merky and white again. So m, I installed this, the process is seamless and made for tank dummies like myself, and send to be working a miracle in less than 24 hes. The 1st photo is prior to installing and the second photo is just now. I'm absolutely impressed by the work it's done already. It's quiter than our last two systems and the fish keep riding on the jet (it's hilarious to watch). If you're on the fence, get off and buy it. I'll update after 7 days.

My tank has never been cleaner! This bad boy doesn't take up as much space as the previous filter I have used and it was very easy to set up as well as clean. It is also much quieter than my last one. So far everything is working well and I look forward to seeing how long it can last. My fish seem to enjoy the bubbles too. I haven't had it for long so I can't speak on durability yet. TBD

The pump Was handling my 90 gallon pretty well initially. Recently the UV light cable sparked after a power surge though it was connected to a surge protector. It smoked and sparked again after the surge passed. The air line often stopped working too. Other than that it was a cool product while it lasted. Using a different one similar without the light and the fish love the flow of that one and it was cheaper. Go figure

I've been using this product for about a week and it works absolutely fantastic. It turned my green water crystal clear within 24 hours, plus provides additional oxygen flow to the tank. So far so good. Highly recommend, no misrepresentation of product or performance that I can tell so far.
