  • Cheap but powerful little pump
Size: 800 GPH
Overall the build quality is decent for a cheap wave maker. It has plenty of water flow power to mix up my water in my 75 gallon tank. My water is cleaner because of this little machine. Instillation was a breeze. The only down side I have had so far is the suction cup looks and feels a little cheap, but what can I say the pump was under 10 dollars. Update the pump is pretty strong i have a 75 gallon tank heavily planted. The pump was up rooting some of my plants on the opposite end of the tank (4 foot tank) ... show more

  • Nice wave maker
Size: 800 GPH
The media could not be loaded. The water flow has a lot of power. The suction makes it fit securely on the aquarium glass. It’s a good quality product and has low noise when running. I have on a 60 gallon aquarium and it works well in it. I definitely recommend this product.

  • Be safe make sure you always use a surge protector
Size: 800 GPH
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this pump for quite a while now and it worked great in the start. It started acting up a bit so I cleaned of the Motor fan and it was fine. Now, A few weeks later, I woke up to a loud hissing sound, and my fire alarm. So just to sit on the side of caution I recommend always using a surge protector. Besides my products default it is a great wave maker. Very nice customer support as well! ... show more

  • Works great
Size: 800 GPH
Installed this into a 55 gallon. Good device in that it is highly adjustable and best of all: basic and simple to use. Creates a nice current, but not too strong to upset fish. I find that with proper adjustment you can create a flow towards the filter intake. I have done this and it appears that my filter has been working a bit better. Interestingly enough my fish swim into the flow and then let the current carry them, swim back and repeat. The suction cup could work better however, there were a couple of times where it detached and started blowing substrate all over the tank. Doesn’t make any sound that I can hear, unless of course it’s pointed up too much; this will create a lot of waves. I keep in on a generic outlet timer. Working great! ... show more

  • quite, powerful
Size: 800 GPH
After switching to sand from gravel, my nitrate/nitrite level went up...The next day after installing this it went down to normal. It blows waste away from the sand so that the filter can pick it up. Also, the fish seem to love it ! (put on back of aquarium-not side)

  • Meh
Size: 800 GPH
Think I received a knock-off. Fan was small and yellow instead of white, and I was unable to open it to clean it. Now it hardly pushes the water and I can't take it apart to fix it.

  • Good wave maker for 75 gallon cichlid tank
Size: 800 GPH
Good wave maker not too strong of flow for my 75 gallon cichlid tank. Keeps circulation flowing without overwhelming my fish. Suction cup keeps it firmly in place

  • Quit working after a couple of months
Size: 800 GPH
The power head worked pretty well for a couple of months and then I noticed that the water was not moving around much. I thought maybe an illusion at first, and I put my hand in front of it and seemed ok. I became apparent very quickly after that that something was wrong with the pump. I unplugged the pump to clean the tank and when I plugged back in it looked weird. Then I realize it is running in the reverse direction blowing water out the sides and back. That shouldn't happen with any motor. Then it just quit working. I understand that you get what you pay for, but this could have turned into a much bigger issue. I suggest spending more money and getting a better and ultimately a safer product. ... show more
