  • Cichlids love it
Size: Large 1300 GPH
The media could not be loaded. I have this set up in a 75 gallon tank. It runs 12 hours on a timed cycle with the UGF which is driven by four 110 GPH powerheads. Goes off at night when the HOB filters kick on, so the fish can sleep. Plenty of flow but a noticable hum. Not overpowering as to fling the fish everywhere. They occasionally will swim right into the direct flow from this thing. It's fun watching them swimming in the currents. Knocked off 1 star because it has a huge footprint in the tank and the hum. ... show more

  • Fantastic for the price
Size: Large 1300 GPH
I bought the large 1300gpg version over a year ago for my 75 gallon Cichlid tank. It's a simple, no-thrills power head that does it's job. It works great for the tank, it keeps good surface movement for oxygenating the water, and the down flow current keeps the majority of the waste suspended in the water column. It also provides just enough flow to keep my fish occupied with swimming and helps curb aggression. Has worked flawlessly for over a year. I recently bought 2 more to mix water in a container for my new saltwater tank. Works great for that too. If you just need a basic, cheap, no-frills wavemaker, this is the one ... show more

  • Quiet Pump
Size: Medium 800 GPH
Most fish tank pumps are very loud but this one is silent. I love how sleek it is and it circulates the water well. Would definitely buy again.

  • I use them because they work
Size: Medium 800 GPH
I have a 60 gal that I use these little guys in and they work great. I had my old ones for about 5 1/2 years and had to order the new ones that I just received. For the price point can’t complain. But.. after a while the suction cup goes bad so you have to replace them no more than a $2 for a couple of them at the fish store. Just my opinion on how I feel about these and I wouldn’t use them in my bigger tanks though. I have a different brand for them. ... show more
Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2023 by Only one problem but it’s ok not expecting $100 quality. I will make a new handle for this blade. But I love the blade it’s self.

  • Works but occasionally falls off.
Size: Extra Large 2100 GPH
It's a nice little cheap pump but at least for me, they tend to fall off every once in a while and blow sand everywhere. To be fair it is in the nature of these cheap little suction feet to do that but it can get annoying.

  • Works well in our indoor pond...
Size: Small 480 GPH
I just wanted a gentle, constant current to keep the water moving for filtration and for Guppies and baby Easter River Cooter (turtle) in our 330gal indoor pond. So far it is working perfectly. Simple and easy to install, and the price was right for us. It works excellent for the small size, I am glad I didn't go for the bigger one, I almost bought the large, I think it would have been too much as these guys (the ERC) like creeks and slower moving streams or small rivers with gentle but constant flow. Still a long way to go until the pond is done, but we have a good start. ... show more

  • Might as well be a riot hose
Size: Small 480 GPH
This agitates water like it owes you money. It really is a pretty forceful jet. I was not prepared. It does plug into the wall and that cord gets partially submerged in the water which is fine, but I recommended plugging it into a GFCI outlet just in case a break in the cable insulation develops over time. As soon as water reaches somewhere it shouldn't, it will trip the GFCI breaker. Suction cup mount works incredibly well on glass and even plastic. Could be quieter but it's hardly noisy by any means, and quite quiet for the amount of water this thing moves. I've seen hot tub jets that move less. ... show more

  • I was not expecting how well it worked.
Size: Large 1300 GPH
I Wasn't expecting much from this pump. I just wanted a little extra flow in my 75 gallon reef tank and instead I got a full blown whirlpool. I don't have that much rock in my tank, so this would probably be perfect if there was more to slow the flow a bit. As it is I had to point it at the wall to dissipate the flow a bit. The only issue I have had in the past few months is that if it's too close to the sandbed the flow will kick up sand and it can get sucked into the propeller. I would definitely buy again. ... show more
