    • Perfect for adding Purigen to a variety of HoB filters
Size: 3” x 4”
These are super fine mesh bags that work perfectly for adding bulk Purigen to HoB filters - small enough to slide right into my Fluval AC 20, and you can pack them enough to be useful in an AC70, i found - used these to add Purigen to all my HoB filters. Only thing I was worried about at first sight was the zipper not quite closing all the way, so was worried I might lose some of the tiny (and expensive) Purigen granules. Nope, I was wrong - the way they fold the zipper onto the bag to attach it keeps every last granule securely inside, even when I'm really twisting and smashing a bag to get it to fit in the media compartment just right. Good product, seems well built - using these + the bulk Purigen in a jar is a great $ saver and offers more size and space customization than buying the expensive pre-filled packets. ... show more

    • Work great for Purigen

I used these to remove tannins from my tank using Purigen powder. They are a very fine mesh and the zippers are a good quality.

Size: 3" x 8"
Fine mesh, zipper closes completely. Opening is small; a small scoop will be needed. Ideal for Purigen.

    • Small opening
Size: 3" x 8"
These bags are the right size. BUT the zipper might open a inch if that. I bought them for Seachem Purigen it was really hard to get that i. Those bags. But once I came up with a plan it worked.
