These are super fine mesh bags that work perfectly for adding bulk Purigen to HoB filters - small enough to slide right into my Fluval AC 20, and you can pack them enough to be useful in an AC70, i found - used these to add Purigen to all my HoB filters. Only thing I was worried about at first sight was the zipper not quite closing all the way, so was worried I might lose some of the tiny (and expensive) Purigen granules. Nope, I was wrong - the way they fold the zipper onto the bag to attach it keeps every last granule securely inside, even when I'm really twisting and smashing a bag to get it to fit in the media compartment just right. Good product, seems well built - using these + the bulk Purigen in a jar is a great $ saver and offers more size and space customization than buying the expensive pre-filled packets. ... show more

I bought these for my Aqueon Quiet flow 300 to hold filter carbon which I buy in bulk. These can also be used for Zeolite chips for removing ammonia. The bags that came with the filter are one-time use and the filter only came with one bag. I couldn’t find replacements so I decided to try these. They’re easy to maintain. Just dump out the charcoal, rinse the bag out thoroughly and fill it with new charcoal. The water is staying perfectly clear and so far these bags are holding up really well. So happy I found these "super fine" mesh bags. Just what I needed to hold Nitra-zorb's tiny resin particals. You get 6 small zippered bags that are very well made. The smallest size fits my AquaClear AC20 HOB filter perfectly. I'm very pleased.

Printing desiccant boxes takes forever and I need a lot of them. Did some research online and bought these mesh bags. Put the desiccants in and they do a wonderful job!! Perfect solution.
