I’ve had these lights for a few weeks now and we absolutely love them. They come on at dusk and are still on at 3 AM. I bought them for 4 x 4 posts but they have other fittings for larger post size if you need them.. They work exactly as they should and I feel it is a good price for the quality. We bought 5, 8 packs for our 38 posts for our Trex deck posts. Yes, there is a minor amount of work involved in pulling off the old caps and separating the innards to put in these lights, but they fit well. Don't use the screws (black on white stands out like a sore thumb and I'd prefer a no hole option), I started with superglue, then switched to hot glue on the non-visible insides and got in a groove of putting them together. I immediately replaced all of the factory batteries with these 2800mah batteries: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DNPT1AO?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and ran a test. In poor sunlight, they recharge enough to go from dark to 2-3am (longer than we would ever spend on the deck) and 50% will last until the sun comes out. I would give them 4.5 stars because we had one that was dead on arrival regardless of which batteries I put in it - out of 40 that's pretty good odds. The flickering flame portion of it is horrible in video, but beautiful in person. Time will tell if any of the lights go bad and how long they last before failing, but for now - it was worth it. ... show more
