These pet fountains all keep coming up with new shapes for their filters and trying to find the right one for cheap is getting more complicated. I have 2 fountains with differently shaped filters and they barely put a teaspoon of carbon in there and I wonder if they serve any purpose at all. Some turn the water yellow and who knows what the heck China is putting in them. I actually have gone without filters for a couple years now and it’s fine, but crumbs, dirt and fur do make their way in with my messy little dirtbags. These are MUCH better at filtration, 1/2” thick, and they can be rinsed and reused several times. I can make 14 filters (plus plenty extra for the smaller filter behind the pump) with the 10”x36” size. I’ll probably rinse & reuse each of them at least 5 times so that’s 70 filters!

Needed replacement filter material for my solar bird bath pump. This is easy to cut to size and price wise will save me a ton of money. I highly recommend this if you need 1/2 inch thick filter material.
