These pet fountains all keep coming up with new shapes for their filters and trying to find the right one for cheap is getting more complicated. I have 2 fountains with differently shaped filters and they barely put a teaspoon of carbon in there and I wonder if they serve any purpose at all. Some turn the water yellow and who knows what the heck China is putting in them. I actually have gone without filters for a couple years now and it’s fine, but crumbs, dirt and fur do make their way in with my messy little dirtbags. These are MUCH better at filtration, 1/2” thick, and they can be rinsed and reused several times. I can make 14 filters (plus plenty extra for the smaller filter behind the pump) with the 10”x36” size. I’ll probably rinse & reuse each of them at least 5 times so that’s 70 filters! ... show more

Needed replacement filter material for my solar bird bath pump. This is easy to cut to size and price wise will save me a ton of money. I highly recommend this if you need 1/2 inch thick filter material.
