I must’ve read the description wrong because I thought it was one of those expanding hoses — it isn’t. Well I was able to move past that because it seemed to be a decent hose still. It's made of cloth so of course it kinks. In fact, if you're holding it straight down (like to fill up a kiddie pool) it kinks at the head and you have to back up to get any flow at all. It doesn't take up much space and is easy to carry and store. It lays pretty flat on the ground so there's no tripping over it. I'm writing this review after purchasing the hose originally, it popped, spoke with customer service and got a free one through their warranty, and the new one popped again after fewer times than the first one. I had a lot of high hopes for this hose and at first, it worked great but both of them decided to fail at the time when they were most needed. The first one went right in the middle of washing my cars and luckily I had a good ol' Costco, never kink, weighs 1000 lbs before the water is turned on, hose and I was able to finish the job with only minor damage to myself physically and mentally. The second hose went while I was trying to clean the bedding for my dog that decided to have an accident out of both ends and nearly painted the walls in the process. (It's an event that will cause me to lose sleep and have flashbacks for years to come). Anyways, I put on the hose attachment and gently turned it on, making sure to not let it pressurize fully and a hole formed instantly. Nothing is more depressing than having to wash off the biomatter from a dog bed with a leaking hose and watching it slowly roll off the pavement. I wanted a hose that blasted away the mess to never be seen again! The problem here is not the outer coating, that's actually decently made, it's the inner lining that must be made of some sort of water dissolvable material. Even just looking at the thing makes it start deteriorating. In all, it's been disappointing and it's time to stop hoping for something that just won't work. Time to head out and buy a non-AquaJoe hose. The only reason that I gave it two stars is that the customer service is actually decent and is willing to help, just be ready to send pictures and videos of the popped hose. Even though it is frustrating to have the hose pop, don't take it out on the CS people, they are only doing their job to cover for a company that can't put together a decent garden hose. ... show more

I was very happy with my Aquajoe hose until it started leaking after 23 months! A month before the warranty ran out! Luckily they are replacing my leaky hoses but the replacement hoses will only be under warranty a month due to the original warranty. No new 2 year warranty with new hose!!

I ordered 2 of these hoses in July 2022, within a month one began to leak from the fabric portion of the hose near the spigot attachment. Amazon replaced that hose as it was within my return window. We hooked up the replacement and it slowly seeps water along the seam of the fabric. Amazon will allow me to return the replacement which is great, as I'm hesitant to try another replacement. Sadly the second hose I ordered started to not just leak but pour water a few days after the return window closed. I contacted Aqua Joe and they are sending out a warranty replacement, the process was really easy and the customer service great so I'm crossing my fingers that the 4th time is the charm. ... show more
