The media could not be loaded. *UPDATE after many minutes on google I figured out that you simply hold the tv button down and power button will pop up on the top right of your screen where you can easily power off your tv. We had been putting it to sleep by going through settings. We upgraded to an Apple TV device and it is sooooooo smooth. It’s really easy to use and the response is quick. No lag. If I could change some things I would change the pad sensitivity. It’s hard to get used to. I also wasn’t a fan of not having an actual power button. You have to go to settings and scroll down to sleep. It’s pricey but worth it over like a Roku for example. The quality of the product is worth the small annoyances. ... show more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLERWhen I opened the package to my Apple TV and saw the product I noticed it was beaten up pretty badly and was refurbished. Plugging it into any tv it causes a buzzing noise that is extremely loud and noticeable so they did a poor job refurbishing it. I had an apple box that was lost on vacation and i ordered this one to replace it. The quality of the product was perfect, brand new , it was very easy to set up equipment and follow directions to transfer all my apps and photos. It took literally less than 3 minutes to connect to WiFi, the remote will change the volume for any tv connected to device and the remote only needs to be charged once every 90 days, the battery life is amazing. 10/10 would recommend great item for price , it’s also very compact and can fit anywhere great for travel ... show more

The item works well, but it arrived with a dent in it and needed updating before use because I couldn’t find my apps. The new remote takes some getting used to because you don’t always push buttons.     • So much better than other streamers
I've been on Roku for years now, and it just cannot compare to this device. It costs a lot more, but for good reason. Not only is the interface worlds better, the quality of the picture is miles ahead, and I very rarely get a buffering delay now, which happened often with Roku on the same network and from the same content providers. If I could deduct a half-star for this particular model, it would be for the remote. The trackpad is really elegant, but they did much better with the next generation remotes. This one has no dedicated power button and no mute button (!)     • Update the Software!
The device looked brand new and came in original box. Swapped it out with fried unit and back in business. Several streamers don’t work with Apple TV unless you update the software to the most current. This device needed updating.
