Our dog is older and at the point where frequent "accidents" happen while she sleeps. In the past, we had bought her more expensive orthopedic beds, one for nighttime and the other to sit next to me while I worked from home in my home office. While the other beds have been washable, there is a limit, and for my home office, I didn't want to spend as much money on a replacement as the last couple of beds. Especially knowing that I might have to toss another bed. I looked at Amazon and selected this bed, going more for something that looked comfortable, washable, and didn't cost an arm and a leg. To be honest, I ordered it quickly without realizing what I would receive was compressed to the size of a small block. When my wife opened the package, she saw this, and since the only visible instructions were not in English, she left it on the counter for me to deal with. I had to double-check the product description online (I wanted to ensure I didn't cut something wrong when I opened the package). The "block" quickly decompressed, and our dog immediately took to sleeping in it. I didn't wait the time the instructions indicated I should --- it looked fully decompressed within a few minutes. It differs from her old "day bed" since the sides are not as stiff as the ones she was used to, but within the day, she had gotten used to curling up in it. She's not said a word to me about the softer sides, so it seems okay with her. As I type this, I can look over at her and see her sleeping in it. In short, mission accomplished. Happy pet. Happy wife. We're all happy.

Got this new bed for my baby girl and she loves it. I keep one in the car and one in the house because she loves going, but feels more secure in her bed. This is the perfect size for her too. The slope down front is great and the higher sides lets her prop her head up when she wants. I love the no skid bottom as well. The one in the car doesn't have that, so she occasionally slides around the backseat. So I'm sure I'll be ordering a 2cd one of these when it wears out because the no skid is working well on the hardwood floors. I haven't had to wash it yet, but I'm sure it will be fine. Seems to be made very well and is easy to clean out with the had vac. Great choice for me and for her!

Great cat bed! As soon as I put it down for him, he started needing and making himself comfy, and went to sleep. Had really no odor when un-packaging. Put it in a dryer on air fluff just to remove any loose fibers. Minimal. This helped the whole bed, fluff up nicely.. This did not have a bottom cushion that you can remove, which I was looking for. But all in all, it’s a keeper!

My dog loved it so much that I ordered two. One for his crate and the other one in the living room. What I like best is that it fits in any washing machine and does not wear or tear. I've washed it many times and still remains fluffy and comfortable.

My pup was really happy with this bed. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks but he’d had his peanut butter Kong in it and it needed to be washed. It doesn’t have a removable cover (my bad…I thought I’d ordered one with one) but it fit in my large washer. When I opened the lid, I was greeted with a tub full of stuffing! I found the tear which was near the front right of the inside bolster. I was able to stuff most of it back in and sew it closed, but the stuffing in the bottom is all lumpy now so he won’t use it. I’ve ordered a different one from a different company with a removable cover and I’d suggest not buying this one. I gave it 3 stars because he really liked it until it was washed.
