It comes in a hard plastic case that has foam in it for every item in the Grinder kit. Easy to move around and stuff won't get lose. The grinder is as powerful as a corded one and comes with 2 4Ah batteries. Just the price of the batteries alone is worth this. It's like getting the grinder for free. It comes with 2 guides for the grinder. Easy to take on and take off. Protects your and your hands. It also comes with a handle that you screw on. It can be screwed on in different places for lefties and righties. Speed select is on the battery. 3 different speeds top speeds with the trigger also providing speed control. Push the trigger more, the faster the thing goes until it hits the top speed selected on the battery. I am using this for my rusty car. It's over 20 years old now and has a bunch of rust spots that needs to be grinded down and cleaned. This works well for removing rust, cleaning metal, and cutting metal. That is all I use it for but I am sure it works for whatever uses you will need. This thing is a buy and I would buy it again if I need another grinder. Oh this also comes with some cutting discs, grinding discs and flap discs to get you started. It even has a spot in the case for discs just in case you forget.

Just as good as a brand name tool. I’d buy this again a thousand times. Good batter life and excellent construction, feels heavy duty. The extra battery is a plus. It’s a solid buy.

This thing worked great! I sanded down a rifle stock in minutes, removed all the gunk. Then hand sanded it down to smooth it out. Stained the wood and it came out real nice. But yeah, this tool sped up the process significantly.

I really like this angle grinder I was able to cut through some pretty thick steel on my trucks frame and the flap wheel worked even better, however, I feel like the battery life isn't the longest but I have nothing to compare it to. If you want something that is powerful enough to do some serious cutting then this grinder is best bang for your buck!

Like most of you, saw the deal, needed a cordless guy for my welding cart and figured I'd give it a shot until I see the Lowes have the Kobalt 4.5" grinder/4ah AND 2ah battery/BIG brick fast charger, and case on sale again for 99.99$ but hasn't for a few months .. so I grabbed this guy. Used my USB-C testing tool that can test mah, amp hour, charging protocols, voltage/amperage input & out and a ton of other things.. to test the batteries capacity. Double checked them with my tool I bought to test my 100ah Lifepo4 deep cycle trolling motor batteries because I was sick of being lied to by everyone as far as capacity goes & both of these tools to test manufacturer claims were the best investments possible. --Test results were no where NEAR 4 Amp Hrs as stated on the battery and every in the description/page for this grinder. One battery barely passed 2amp hours, technically 2.53ah. The other was 1.94ah. basically half or less than half of the claimed 4ah your paying for. Not to mention the time it takes to charge with their junk charger is insane. That's why you're seeing 5-7 min runtimes. I then retested with my own Power supply I made and sure enough, same results give or take 0.02-0.04 ah. Again one had more than 50% loss. The other was about 35-40%loss. The stated RPM's are NOT consistent. According to my meter, max rpm is anywhere from 8,120rpm to 8,217rpm. Again, no where close to the stated RPM's or power. I stopped testing at this point and could careless how it performs, if I only get 5 min of grinding and takes 5+ hours to charge the battery, it's useless to me.. Best bet is to just buy a tool only 4.5" grinder from a reputable company and buy a 3rd party lipo battery and save some $$ but this is not it.. had it lasted longer than 5-6 minute runtime, I would of loved it for the price and just asked the company if it was a fluke my batteries were NOT the claimed capacity. But unfortunately it's going back and the DeWalt is coming home for 100$ since I have plenty of those batteries already! Look elsewhere.

I like to show the product actually in action, rather than just some obvious pictures of the product. For the video, I'm cutting 1.5" steel electrical tubing to make speaker pillars in the bed of my truck. I've been using grinders my whole life, so the reason fo not using the wheel guard was to show how the cutoff wheels don't heat up like the ones you get at Harbor Freight.They even have QR codes on the wheels in case you want to order more, but they're a standard 7/8" arbor anyway. This is NOT like the heavy duty, high RPM AC powered grinders! I admit to bargain shopping, because I only use these for light duty pipe cutting, grinding and sanding. The carrying case is well built as well as the product itself. 2 batteries is a HUGE PLUS, and the extra wheels they give you is a bonus. Heavy means quality, and this unit is well balanced in your hand. The batteries themselves have built -in chargers, so less stuff to get lost lol. I have some other AOBEN products, which was my selling point for this grinder, and it doesn't fail to deliver. I got the A2-102D (Light duty) because I don't sit there and cut & grind for hours at a time. So for light duty, quick jobs up to 30 mins or so, this one's a keeper! 💥👍
