This kit exceeded every expectation. From the premium packaging to the thoughtful functionality, it genuinely feels like a high-end skincare set, and it performs like one, too. The silicone scrubber is the standout. I was skeptical at first since I’ve always used traditional bristle brushes, but these silicone bristles feel surprisingly nice and seem to work really well. The design is ergonomic and easy to grip, and it's strong without being harsh. After two weeks of use, my skin looks brighter and more even, and I’ve had far fewer acne breakouts. And skincare isn't new for me; I previously used a facial scrubber and skin care routine, so the improvements I'm noticing are related specifically to this kit. The gentle vibration every so often acts like a built-in timer, and the locking feature is a great touch for travel. Battery life has also been fantastic. I haven’t had to charge it once so far. And when I do get ready to charge it, I'm thrilled to know it's USB-C and not some specialized cable or charging stand. The facial wash and moisturizer have a fresh, natural scent. It’s not overly masculine, but definitely not feminine either. A small amount goes a long way, and it lathers up nicely with the scrubber. The moisturizer is lightweight, sinks in fast, and doesn't leave a greasy residue. I also feel like you get a decent amount of product, too. What I really appreciate about this kit is that it actually feels like it was designed with men in mind. Skincare for men either doesn’t exist or still carries a weird stigma, like we’re not supposed to care about our skin. Even something as simple as a facial scrubber usually comes in light pinks, purples, or bright turquoise (like my last one). Not that it really matters to me, but it’s nice to have a neutral color and not feel like you’re borrowing something that was clearly made for someone else. It’s a little expensive, but in this case, you're getting quality. The packaging, the performance, the small thoughtful touches... it all adds up to a genuinely solid gift or personal upgrade. I’d absolutely recommend it. I’ll definitely be back for refills on the face wash and moisturizer. This set makes me take Manscaped seriously for other products when it comes to skincare and grooming. For so long, their brand felt aimed at an audience I wasn't sure I wanted to be part of: all shock-value marketing and groin jokes. But this feels elevated, thoughtful, and worth building a routine around.

This is an impressively packaged skincare set. If you're thinking of gifting this, at least read the first note below on packaging. I've included an analysis of each of the products and the packaging, instructions, and performance. TLDR, the scrubber's fantastic, the instructions are for the wrong kit, and the cleanser and moisturizer are just okay. ⚠️ A NOTE ABOUT PACKAGING — THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY ➡️ So normally, I don't comment on packaging, but this kit is packaged really well and the branding is fantastic. Definitely doesn't feel cheap. ⛔ It's great except for this one thing, which is actually really confusing and would make me hesitant to give this as a gift. The huge cardboard insert talks about a "3 step routine" and highlights 3 skincare products plus the scrubber. ⛔ Except this kit only comes with 2 skincare products, not three. I spent like 5 minutes trying to figure out where the Step 2 product was. So basically, the "instructions" are a fail, and the "what's in the box" lists a product that isn't included. ⚠️ I looked at the Manscaped website and the contents of this "STARTER KIT" sometimes show 2 products and sometimes show 3 products — yes, on the exact same product page. Seems like Manscaped changed the contents of this kit somewhere along the line, didn't update the packaging, and only partially updated their website's product page for this Starter Kit. ✅ GREAT — THE FACE BUFFER PRO This scrubber is the star of the show. Upgrading to this scrubber from whatever you're using now is like upgrading to an ultrasonic toothbrush from a manual toothbrush. Really no comparison. ⭐ I’ve tried plenty of facial scrubbers, and this is the best of the lot, regardless of price, although it is on the pricier end of the scale. ✅ The handle of this scrubber sort of looks like the handle of a tool in my shop, similar to a sander. That handle makes this scrubber surprisingly easy to maneuver around my face, especially near and on my nose where I tend to see large, unattractive pores. ⚠️ It occurred to me that since I don't shave on my nose, I haven't really cleaned my nose well in the past, and it shows. ✅ I’ve been using this for a week, and the sort of gross pores on my nose have definitely gotten smaller. Overall, my face feels much cleaner. ✅ Another thing that impressed me is how little face cleanser I need when using this scrubber. It may be worth the cost just from the savings on cleanser alone. ✅ Charging is simple, and it comes with a sleek zippered dopp kit and a USB cable. I also appreciate the travel lock, which keeps this from accidentally turning on when tossed into a bag. ➡️ FINE — THE FACE WASH ✅ This face wash cleans without stripping my skin, which is exactly what I want in a daily cleanser. ✅ A small amount lathers well and lifts the gunk out of my pores, especially around my nose. The bottle has a large pump top that is easy to use and dispenses cleanly. ✅ I also like that the packaging looks sharp and modern. It fits in well with my bathroom setup and doesn’t look girly. ✅ It's lightly scented, and to me smells like shaving cream, so the scent didn't bother me. ➡️ OKAY — THE FACE MOISTURIZER I didn't love the face moisturizer. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, I just didn't love it. ✅ It's moisturizing and my skin felt hydrated, and not greasy. I think it's fine, but I won't buy it again only because there are a lot of other options that I think are better out there. Overall, I recommend this kit with reservations. If you give it as a gift, be sure to explain that the instructions and content listings might be misleading, otherwise your giftee might think you snagged one of the product our of their box.

As a woman I would probably drop $100 on skincare and not think anything of it. My husband on the other hand, not having it. He didn’t notice any visible changes in his skin and he wasn’t impressed with any of the products. He appreciated the scrubber the most and thought it felt nice and cleaned his face better than his hands. He said the face wash and lotion weren’t any better than the stuff he buys at the grocery store and he wouldn’t purchase this brand again.

Typically, men think skincare is too much work, and that's when this kit comes in handy. The reason why I think this kit is the perfect gift for men is that it simplifies the skincare routine for men into 2 products. My husband enjoys the electric silicone scrubber a lot because it really does make his face feel squeaky clean. The electric silicone scrubber mainly vibrates and helps gently exfoliate away dead skin cells. The battery life of the electric silicone scrubber lasts pretty long, as my husband has been using it for over a month, and I am surprised that the battery has lasted this long. What's great is that the electric scrubber comes with its own charger, so you wouldn't really have to worry about replacing the battery. I have really noticed an improvement in my husband's skin texture ever since my husband has started using this kit. In addition to the exfoliation that the scrubber provides, the face wash also has chemical exfoliants (AHA), and the face moisturizer has hyaluronic acid and shea butter, both of which are extremely effective in keeping my husband's face moisturized, probably contributing to making his face smoother. My husband has an oily skin type, but using this kit hasn't made his face more oily. I would highly recommend this kit to any man who is lazy with skincare and want something simple and straightforward.

I wish I could give a more in-depth review, but I ordered this for my husband and he refuses to use it. So everything I'm about to say is from the viewpoint of a woman who has only tested a bit of it all. The scent is nice, slightly manly, but not overwhelming. The cleanser works really well and doesn't dry out my skin, and I have dry skin. I like the moisturizer a lot. I think because they have added hyaluronic acid to it, it's a very nice formula. The scrubby thing is pretty cool! I've used it a few times and the battery is still going strong after over a month. So maybe I'll steal the scrubby and donate the cleanser and moisturizer to another man in need, or maybe I'll end up giving the whole set to my brother (more likely since I don't need the scrubby thing myself). All in all, from my viewpoint, it seems like a really luxurious kit for a dude. I don't necessarily know how much most men's skincare sets are, but this one rivals a women's luxury set, so I believe it might be a tad overpriced given there's only a few items. Of course, what do I know? It's excellent quality stuff, so the value is up to you. This is a great skincare starter kit for men. It has everything they need to get their skin clean, exfoliated, and moisturized, and it would make an impressive gift. This set comes with a sonic vibration facial buffer, face wash with ceramides and exfoliants, and an all day facial moisturizer that contains hyaluronic acid. The face wash and moisturizer both have light, masculine scents, that my husband and I both enjoy. The sonic facial scrubber is well made, and works great. My husband has used it every day for a month on a single charge, and it is still going strong. The scrubber has 3 different cleansing modes to choose from, and also has a lock to keep it from accidentally powering on while traveling. The face wash smells great, and leaves his skin feeling clean and refreshed. The moisturizer absorbs well, and makes his skin look and feel smooth. He has never really used skincare on his face before, but this kit has him hooked!
