Getting it over the top of the heater is a bit strenuous. The cord at the bottom should be able to pull apart. You need a step stool as it is for a 7 foot heater. The top is snug. If the bottom was open, it would be easier to put it on. The material is thin and catches the wind like a sail. I used small bungee cords to wrap around the center pole so it would not be a sail in the wind. ... show more

This is a great cover for the outdoor heater and fits nicely. Also, the draw string at the bottom makes for a secure attachment, especially in the wind. The material is light weight, water repellant, and easy to maintain. It allows the wind to blow around the heater and doesn't act like a sail that could cause the heater to potentially be blown over. I gave a 5-Start rating for all the right reasons, but like anything, there's a small negative. The cover is a little difficult to put on without some assistance, but it can be done alone. I put it on alone, but if you're a shorter person, a helper works great. A "Plus" for this cover is the storage bag. When the cover is not in use the bag holds the cover nicely and is compact and keeps the cover clean and ready when needed. ... show more
