  • Great Overall Project; Super Easy Use
Style: Capsule 3
The media could not be loaded. Compared a few portable projectors for use in my van. I want to remove my ceiling-mounted TV because I keep bumping my head on it, so I'm looking for something easy to set up and compact. Pairing this with a 40-inch Pile self-standing screen. I compared the Aurzen Boom Air and Nebula Capsule 3. Overall, I like the Nebula Capsule 3 and will keep that. - Picture Sharpness > Nebula - Brightness > tied between the two - Sound > Nebula (Clearer and fuller) - Overall projector noise > Nebula (you can hear the fan in the Aurzen) - Cost > Aurzen Boom Air - Overall value > Nebula If you can get the Nebula on sale, spend the extra 100 dollars for a better overall product. - Smaller footprint and more portable, especially for travel and camping. - Built-in battery makes it super easy to whip out and get your video up and running. no fuss. ... show more

  • Great projector, at a great price
Style: Capsule 3
Extremely happy with the size and quality of this projector. The picture clarity and color is excellent up to the edge of its limits, specifically in the dark. Light does reduce picture brightness and quality respectively to how bright it is. It's extremely portable, but I do recommend getting a screw in stand to help position the screen better. The obstacle avoidance and depth detector works well. There is a bit of delay when using the remote, so account for that. The sound is decent but connecting a Bluetooth speaker is preferable. ... show more

  • Amazing
Style: Capsule 3 laser
My first projector and I really love this. Incredible features and performance for its size. The auto focus, keystone, and object avoidance is amazing. I put up a screen on my wall and it will automatically fit the image to the size of the screen, which I recommend getting. Otherwise you will have to move the projector closer or further to get the size you want. Obviously works better in low light environments. The sound is impressive and I don’t ever need to get it close to max to be able to hear everything clearly. I love that I can Bluetooth to another speaker if the projector needs to be offset and you want the sound coming from in front of you like a TV would. Google TV is a little laggy. MY ONLY COMPLAINT and eats at me sometimes is there’s always a “light box” being projected regardless of image shape. It’s hard to describe but there’s always a larger dim light that doesn’t keystone or change with the actual picture that gets corrected. So you’ll see a dim box of light in whatever shape it happens to be based on projector placement and your perfect picture inside of that. ... show more

  • Great small portable projector
Style: Capsule
I had this projector since early this year. I've been using it for our vacations overseas, camping, in my garage while I was working on something. Occasionally we would have a movie night in our kids bedrooms. I sometimes use it while I am in my bed... I project it to my ceiling and lay down and watch all night... LOL Okay, if you are to complain that picture quality is poor I would say don't get this. Compared to the size of this projector picture quality is acceptable to my standards and actually it's pretty good. Sound quality is not bad either. I had no problem hearing the sound and if I needed more volume I would use an external speaker but with it's 360 degree speaker it was good enough most occasions. I stream Netflix, Amazon Prime Video through it's apps or use screen mirror on my iphone. I also stream movies using my DNLA capable NAS in my home network using VLC Player app. I know you can use Chromecast to stream but I don't bother since with the Netflix, Amazon Prime app and streaming from my home DNLA server is enough to watch at home. I had my son connect to xbox one through HDMI in our ski trip that we went with the friends and families and the kids had so much fun and they loved it! Capsule is now our must take item for any trips we make. When WiFi is not available I use the hot spot on my phone to stream Netflix or Amazon Prime or just use screen mirroring or have some movies copied into USB drive and watch it that way. There are many useful features you can use to enjoy your Capsule in many ways in difference occasions. Like I keep saying, this small projector has everything that it can offer to be portable and to my opinion that's the best part of owning this unit. Only downside you may find is "IF" you are looking for HD quality video. It's 480P and as your screen size gets bigger it will be blurry. For me up to about 60" screen size was pretty acceptable to enjoy. Also, do not expect to use this on a daylight. Most projectors are not good when you use it in daylight unless you pay a lot for a high-end unit. This projector works best when the room is dark. I find that having window shades down will help during the day time but when it's very bright day it won't work. I am a gadget geek and I just ordered Mars 2. I am curious to see if 300 lumens vs 100 lumens makes a lot of difference and also the 720p resolution which Mars 2 supports. I am sure there will be some noticeable differences but I am sure Mars 2 won't beat the mobility of Capsule. One of the things that you should consider is that Capsule can be charged with an external battery pack with the micro USB port in the back. So if you are outdoors and have no access to wall outlet then you can connect the power bank and keep watching with extended playtime. For Mars 2 you can't really do that because it requires higher power input than what normal external power banks offer and you can only charge through DC input using the proprietary power adapter. I ordered a laptop charger with enough output and I will be testing it with the new Mars 2 but it's pretty big and it will be cumbersome to carry Mars 2 and the big power bank. I know for sure that I will miss my Capsule's mobility. Bottom line - I like the Capsule very much so far and if Capsule 2 was on the market now I would certainly have upgraded to that but won't be available until mid next year and I'd love to get my hands on Capsule 2 if my budget will allow that when time comes. ... show more
