I’ve been using this lotion for a few weeks now, and I’m very happy with it. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and well-moisturized throughout the day. This is a heavenly-scented, smooth moisturizer. Not too thick, but provides lasting moisture to my skin. Doesn't leave a sticky, tacky feeling, it just leaves my skin soft and smooth. I'm a sucker for a vanilla scent. And a great value? I'm sold!

When I learned Palmer's had my favorite lotion in this amazing scent my keyboard caught fire as I rushed to look it up. Yes, it was a social media beauty influencer that called my attention to it (when you know you know) . But that just expedited things. I peruse Palmer's offerings quite often I had just missed this one somehow. Now I can not only avoid looking like old leather left in the sun too long but also smell amazing. I’m a lifelong Palmer’s stan—yes, I’m biased, and I’m owning it—but even I wasn’t prepared for how much I’d lose my mind over this vanilla version. The second I heard they’d taken their legendary cocoa butter formula and infused it with this warm, natural vanilla scent; my fingers practically smoked across the keyboard in a frantic “add to cart” frenzy. When this particular influencer mentions something, it often sells out. So, I was happy to actually find some. Look, I don’t do perfume. Never have. After years of working selling cosmetics in my youth, I’ve been assaulted by enough clouds of drugstore and department-store fragrance to last several lifetimes. People bathe in the stuff and then walk around like human crop dusters. Hard pass. This lotion, though? It’s the anti-perfume. A soft, creamy, utterly natural vanilla that smells like fresh-baked goodness crossed with a tropical spa breeze—think vanilla bean meets a hint of coconut (because Palmer’s knows we all secretly want to live on an island). It’s subtle enough that no one will gag, but noticeable enough that people might suddenly crave a vanilla latte… or start daydreaming about lounging under vanilla orchids in Madagascar. You’ll get compliments, not side-eyes. And the moisturizing? Classic Palmer’s perfection. That rich cocoa butter formula sinks in fast, leaves zero greasiness, and keeps skin soft for hours—no more looking like a sun-baked leather wallet or developing that unfortunate lizard-skin texture. They might forget themselves and think they are basking under the vanilla trees in Madagascar. THIS LOTION IS UNBELIEVABLE ~~ IT SMELLS FANTASTIC AND ABSORBS VERY QUICKLY WITHOUT LEAVING YOUR SKIN FEELING GREASY. I PUT IT ON AFTER MY SHOWER AT NIGHT AND MY SKIN WAS STILL SOFT IN THE MORNING. I ALSO STILL HAD A NICE SOFT SCENT OF VANILLA TO MY SKIN AS WELL. I DID PAIR THIS WITH THE OIL AS WELL AND WILL BE LEAVING A REVIEW FOR THAT AS WELL. IF YOU LOVE VANILLA YOU WILL LOVE THIS. THE SCENT IS NOT TO SWEET AND NOT OVERPOWERING BUT A NICE STRENGTH THAT LEAVES YOUR SKIN MOISTURIZED ALL DAY. TRUST ME.... I HAVE VERY DRY SKIN SO IF IT KEEPS MY SKIN SOFT IT IS A DEFINITE KEEPER. I've always been a big fan of Palmer's cocoa butter lotions in my younger years and hadn't used their stuff in a while. I saw that there was a product of theirs that is similar to a different, more expensive thing. This appears to be the same product they released- Tahitian Vanilla- but in a bottle for half the price. I think it's been a long time since I've used their products; I was really just looking for a good price when I bought this. There isn't much of a scent to it- in fact it smells more like cocoa butter than vanilla. There's a tiny bit of vanilla scent to it so I guess like other people said, it's probably good for layering or whatever. The scent definitely isn't bad at all. It moisturizes relatively well but perhaps I'm more used to greasier lotions bc it doesn't feel like it moisturizes as well as other stuff might. I usually like petroleum-based products lately. If you want a non greasy moisturizer with a very light scent, this is for you. It definitely feels like it's thick enough with shea butter and cocoa butter though. As usual, Palmer's delivers good quality for good prices. I can't wait to try pairing it with one of their body oils. ... show more

I’ve been using the Palmer’s Tahitian Monoi Body Lotion (Tahitian Vanilla) and I’m honestly impressed. The texture is rich but not too heavy, so it hydrates really well without leaving my skin sticky or greasy. The scent is a warm, sweet vanilla with a tropical touch. It’s noticeable but not overpowering, and it leaves my skin smelling good for hours. If you like soft, cozy vanilla scents, you’ll probably love this one. I also like that it’s made with ingredients like coconut oil and vitamin E, which help keep my skin soft and smooth. I’ve noticed my skin feels more moisturized and less dry, especially on my legs and arms. The only small downside is that, because it’s quite nourishing, it can take a few seconds to fully absorb if you use a lot. But for me, the hydration and glow it gives my skin are totally worth it. I like this better than my EOS Vanilla Cashmere, especially for the price, scent and how it feels on my skin. Palmer's smells softer but still has that cozy vanilla I love. It mixes cocoa and shea butter in a way that feels comforting and smooth without being greasy. EOS was a tiny bit thicker, and I didn't love how long it took to dry. Palmer's absorbs quickly and my skin drinks it up. They're both big bottles and they moisturize really well, but Palmer's leaves me feeling more hydrated. The scent isn't as sweetly strong as Vanilla Cashmere, which I prefer. It layers nicely with perfumes, body oils and sprays, and I've noticed it helps everything last longer throughout the day. It's the kind of soft vanilla I reach for when I want something versatile. Not too sweet, not too loud. Plus, it's a bit cheaper, which makes it even better. Also, when I first got Vanilla Cashmere, I loved it. It smelled like cupcakes. But over time, I started picking up that vanilla yogurt smell that some people have mentioned. I like vanilla yogurt, just not as a scent on my skin. I still like it though, but Palmer's has more of that true vanilla feel I love; softer, warmer yet still easy to pair with fruity, floral or gourmand scents. If you like sweeter, bakery scents, try EOS but if you like softer, cozier, try Palmer's. This has been a solid go-to and once again, Palmer's didn't let me down. ... show more
