We just got these large pool pillows and were initially impressed for the price. You will want to double knot/square knot/securely knot the strings because they will come off while in the water. I had to get in when they came off 😅 brrr. Anywho, they seem to be good quality, held their air so far and will hopefully hold up through the winter. Will report back if anything negative happens! For reference: our pool is a 24'. You can see that our problem was last year, the tarp sat in the water. Pro tip, if they make it more than one season, I will be replacing the cheap rope with proper outdoor string from Walmart or a hardware store, it will last longer since this other string probably won't make it through the winter. If you want, I would even do it before the first use! ... show more

I have a collection of several brands of pool pillows to cover the surface of my above ground pool. I then pull my pool cover over them. With using lots of pillows, I am able to make a dome that cause leaves to blow off my cover. This set of four 4’ X 4’ pillows is a bargain. These have the Boston air inflation valve which is easy to manage and secure. There is a wide double seam insuring no leaks. The outside seam goes around the corner grommets that are thicker and wider than competitors in this price range. The thickness of the pillow material is comparable to higher end pillows. The only slight con is that I wish the very outermost edge of the pillow was seamed which it makes it easier to clean when opening up the pool the next year. All in all, for the good quality features I shared and at this price, this is the best deal out of all my brands I have purchased. ... show more

I'm using these pool pillows in my fish pond to keep the netting up out of the water so the leaves don't weigh it down. In the past I've used cheap pillows and, invariably, they get punctured by something before the winter is out.
