Opened the box and it was ready to go. The remote did not come with batteries but it just needs 2 AAA. Honestly, this would be great to get some exercise while watching TV or a movie or even playing a game on my phone but this is going to work with me. It is very quiet and has a smooth, easy motion. This elliptical is a Fabulous machine. It is easy to use and it is working wonders for my mobility since it arrived 4 weeks ago. I use it 2 or 3 cycles/programs each day. It runs for 30 minutes each program. I had lost a lot of my mobility after I had surgery because I was in pain and not moving. ( 78 y/o) This machine has me up and walking well again. It helps my whole body functioning with getting my circulation working. After watching a lot of videos I chose this model. I knew I would not use a peddle machine if I had to work it myself. I knew I would never hold up for a half hour or an hour on my own steam. It does provide that manual operation though if you want to use it like that. I enjoy my workouts and can read while the machine does the work. If I did not own this elliptical today I would definitley buy it. It is a life saver to me. And it is quiet! ....Update here on March 26, 2024. I am still using this machine and it is doing more for me that I imgiined it would. My over all circulation is good. I feel light. My blood pressure is now right on target. It was mildly high before using this elliptical.

I think it is! Easy out of the box plug it in and go. I work at desk sometimes up 8-9 hours a day. I have tried the treadmill walker and working it’s not easy with my job. This can go at a speed that is comfortable to type & talk without anyone knowing I’m doing anything. After a couple of days using it I’ve noticed my legs aren’t fatigued as they sometimes get during the day. I’m sure just the mobility is added circulation which often I’m not getting from long duration of sitting.

Just using it for 15 minutes my legs seem tired. They got more exercise than I had expected! Fantastic. After my double stroke, this is helping me regain my leg motions and can see improvement in my limited walking ability.

This is a great way to exercise after having knee replacement surgery. It not only works your knees but I can feel it in my hips. A great little machine when you can't get outside due to health or weather. I actually looked for one on Buy sell sites and found that Amazon was a better bargain. I'm happy with it.

I don't really need the various controls on the machine. The remote does not work but it still give you a good work out. The machine is heavy duty but still walks away from you a bit. The controls are not fully clear on how to use. It gives options for forward and backward. I feel I got a good deal though
