My situation is probably not typical, but in my 1967 Volvo I needed space under the hood, so installed a small Odyssey racing battery (PC680) in place of the full size battery. The Odyssey has 170 CCA and 280 CA, just enough to turn the starter over in Southern California, sometimes with fingers crossed. I've been toying with getting a battery with more starting power, but in the small size I need, the cranking amps are limited. This device seemed the perfect solution, and so far works quite well. The starter cranks over with no fuss and no muss. The only downsides are: the cables are pretty short, as others have noted, and the case is somewhat clunky, leaving a less than elegant install with its included zip ties, which is why I took off a star. That said, it functions very well and makes my starting system much more reliable. I would personally sacrifice a few amps to make it smaller and the cables longer, but I assume there are good engineering reasons why it is in its present form.

2009 Nissan Rogue has had battery issues for years. We've been using a trickle charger, but with the cold winter (even in South Florida!) that wasn't working anymore. This device solved the issue! Works exactly as advertised. Wonderful product!

Product super capacitor seems to work and helps with starting. I did notice that the car noticeably starts easier and so it seems that the product is working with a known low battery. However I was not able to get the Bluetooth to pair with iPhone app. Also the iPhone app was blowing up my firewall alerts because it sends all traffic to servers in mainland china. I tired all the troubleshooting steps even with AI assistance and still couldn’t get the app to work, but once I learned it was trying to send all my information to china I decided I didn’t want to use the app anyway. Which was a real let down because I really wanted to see the app data and use the alerts. This pretty much renders this product much less appealing per I bought it to use the app alerts and monitoring for battery health. I figured it would all be localized functionality and data because it uses Bluetooth but I was wrong. They try to get you to create an account and then the app tries to get your location data and then send it to servers in china. Why can’t you just make a product that respects privacy and keep the data local on the phone???? Or At least offer a paid for app that stores everything locally and doesn’t require registration or online account…

Awesome. Two second install. It shows way more info than your car will about it's starter, battery, and how likely you are to be walking. But it's got bluetooth and it'll tell you" not literally" go drive for 15-20. Your car and components need it.
