This clock is actually quite nice in terms of construction. It has a metal body, a very well-balanced base, is silent, and is easy to program and looks quite elegant. The battery compartment is also very easy to access, which I assure you is NOT the case with many of these analog clocks because I have a few. But then there are the things I do not care for about it....for one, it is smaller than any of my other clocks, a bit small for my (admittedly) personal preference. At least the typeface on the clock has good contrast and is not hard to read up close. Secondly, the alarm is the typical "beep-beep" thing which I do not care for but it's sort of standard on these cheaper clocks. I encountered it when I put the battery in, as the alarm was set to "On" and I was immediately assailed with the noise. Not my preferred way to be woken up but it is what it is. Also, the "Soft Glow Night Light" feature is confusingly spelled out in the product description. From the description it seems that you can long press the cream-colored button in the back of the clock and have an illuminated clock. Not so. The light is only on while you press the button. When you release the button, the light is gone. I was hoping that the light would stay on, because sometimes that feature would come in handy. Summary: This really is a good clock overall, as long as it is mostly going to sit on a desk or night table and not be called on to do much more than keep time. It does swivel which is a big plus. However I wish there was another choice of alarm type and I'm disappointed in the limitations of the illumination feature. But as long as the clock stays silent and does not crap out in that regard , it is useful and would at least look good on any table or other setting. Overall I'd give it a solid 3.5 stars.

I work out of a cubicle with multiple computers, screens, and other high tech tools. I've always appreciated having a low tech clock for the time of day because looking up and away from the screen at a clean analog clock is easy on the eyes. This TIMESS clock fits the bill. It has a nice, heavy steel feel and sits on a bracket stand so that the round clock's viewing angle can be adjusted. The second hand floats smoothly and constantly instead of ticking. The clock is silent enough for my office environment, but I can hear gears moving if I hold the clock to my ear. When activated, the dim light emanates from the 10 o'clock position and is bright enough to see the entire clock face at night. The alarm starts quietly and then raises in volume and tone if not acknowledged. These two feature are a nice touch of home when traveling, but I won't need them for my desk.

This Analog Alarm Clock, Silent Non-Ticking Quartz Movement, Battery-Operated with Snooze by TIMESS has no ticking noise. That was what I most appreciated in the description and why I chose this model. I also like that you can tilt the clock on the stand to be able to see the clock from different angles. It reminds me of the clocks in my childhood and so I knew how to set it up and operate it, which is good since the directions have very small print. It keeps time and I can see it from across the room, which is what I needed from it. It meets my needs perfectly as a clock on my TV stand.

So far, this clock keeps time well. It is small enough to be placed on small surfaces without taking up too much space or get in the way yet easy to see the time. I haven't used the alarm and probably won't but it looks simple to set and the button on the back for the light is easy to find/push. It is all metal and sturdy; it doesn't feel or look cheap.

I ordered the black analog alarm clock. The clock face is approximately 3 inches in diameter and 1.4 inches thick. The plastic window is very clear, making the clock face easy to read. The unit's frame and stand are made of metal with a plastic backing. Including the AA battery, the whole unit weighs 8.2 ounces. The alarm sound is a bit low for my preference, and I wish there were high and low settings. It seems to keep accurate time and is very quiet compared to other analog clocks I've owned. Overall, I am pleased with this item.
