The unit itself is really good. Installed it in my 5th wheel camper this past weekend and have instant hot water on demand! The control module is nice also to see what’s happening in real time! I would give it 5 stars but they don’t make a door size other than the one that comes with the unit. So I had to research and buy another door separately from my unit. Kind of annoying but no issue other than that. Installation was easy and took no time!

Do not waste your time or your money, buy once and cry once. Go purchase a name brand unit. After 4 days of installation the unit has a severe leak from the relief valve, pooling up into the inside of my RV. The unit advertises 130 degrees or so at 3.4 gpm, though it will not hold anything warmer than 109 degrees even after the addition of a flow restriction valve on the system. I will start by saying this: I am a licensed plumber with 15 years of experience between RV, residential and commercial. I bought this unit with intentions of us to have great hot water functions, I have zero bias against tankless units as I install them on a daily basis. 4 days in the unit started constantly leaking through the relief valve, the valve is good for 100 psi and the static water pressure where we are is 54 psi. Nearly half of the pressure needed to pop the valve, there should be zero reason this unit is leaking. Unit was professionally installed by myself, plumbed correctly and stress tested immediately after. Amazon was zero use through customer service, 3 different reps left the conversation before it was over and the last kicked me out so fast I couldn’t even read his reply. He immediately sent me to the “did I solve your problem” page. If I could’ve read the reply I’d have an answer to your question… 0/5 stars to amazons customer support. I will be leaving them a separate review 1/5 stars to the water heater as it does function though it leaks so bad I can’t leave it inside my RV without fear of causing damage. Will be buying Fogatti or Girard from now on. Hopefully this review gets read by the right person and they stay away from this unit.
