    • Had for just over 9 years now and still pretty solid
Color: Black
I ordered this chair back in December 2015 for our front office, and it's been moved to our back shop where we fabricate. We're not a gentle work space by any stretch of the imagination; we build stuff and it's messy, lots of tools etc. This chair has held up surprisingly well! The faux leather is delaminating almost entirely on the seat but honestly, I'd expect that for faux leather on something that is used daily. The seat pad, in my opinion, has gotten de-poofed. So it's not plush anymore but still usable. I've asked the guy that's using it if they want an upgrade/update and they said they like it and don't want to change it out just yet. That's saying something! The size is nice and wide. We've had a range of differently sized folks sit in the chair over the years and the seat was always comfortable (less now without so much seat poof), I was able to sit cross-legged and the whole chair felt sturdy then as it does now. All of the standards functions you'd want an office chair to do, it can still do: it goes up and down smoothly, it rolls just fine, it's still pivot-reclines comfortably and doesn't feel like it's going to topple. I like it! ... show more

    • Reliable, Comfortable, and Good-Looking Chair — I Keep Coming Back to It
Color: White
This is my fourth time purchasing this Amazon Basics mid-back office chair, which says a lot about its overall value. It looks clean and modern, fits well in a home office, and is genuinely comfortable for daily use. I typically get about a year and a half out of each one, which feels reasonable given the price point and materials. Out of the box, the chair is easy to assemble and immediately comfortable. The padding is supportive, the armrests are well positioned, and the faux leather gives it a more upscale appearance than many chairs in this category. It rolls smoothly, swivels easily, and works well for long computer sessions without causing back or shoulder fatigue. That said, this is not a lifetime chair. After extended use, the cushioning and structure do begin to wear, and that’s usually when I replace it. Still, considering the comfort, appearance, and cost, it remains one of the best value office chairs I’ve found — which is why I keep buying it again. Pros: • Comfortable padding and good mid-back support • Clean, modern appearance that looks great in an office • Smooth rolling and stable base • Easy assembly • Excellent value for the price Cons: • Durability is moderate; expect replacement after about 1½ years • Not designed for long-term heavy-duty use Verdict: If you want a comfortable, attractive, and affordable office chair that performs well for daily use, this is a strong choice. It may not last forever, but its comfort and value make it easy to recommend — and easy to repurchase. ... show more

    • Nice chair
Color: Black
Bought this for our 18 year old daughter who is about 5’ 1”, it’s the perfect size and height for someone her height. The covering is very soft and it has nice support.

    • Great sturdy chair and beautiful color
Color: White
I love this chair. I bought it for my home office. It is beautiful, sturdy and very comfortable. I'm not good at all with assembling even basic things but I would say that this was relatively pretty simple for someone like me to put together. Good price and good product.

    • Nice chair but “faux” leather
Color: Black
Chair looks good and is comfortable. Durability is questionable since the “faux leather” on the arms is flaking off.

    • Pretty good, but not great
Color: Dark Brown
This is a totally functional chair, and for the price I definitely can't complain. As I'm moving to a new city, I've been using this chair pretty much every day as I'm waiting to get a couch delivered for more comfortable sitting. With that said, the chair is very comfortable and I haven't gotten sore sitting on it after extended periods. Some minor things that prevented my from giving it a full five stars though. First, the assembly was a bit annoying. The instructions were clear and concise, but it was a little awkward getting the arm rests and seat back screwed together. The screws are quite short, and I had some issues getting them to catch the thread. Luckily it's something I will only need to do once, so no big deal. Another small gripe is that I wish the back went up more. This isn't really a fault of the chair because it clearly states it is 'mid-back' only, but it would be nice to have something to rest my head against. This chairs ends right at my shoulder blades though, so that's not possible. Considering the AmazonBasics high-back model is another $50 though, I probably would have gone with this model regardless. Finally, if you have wood floors be sure to buy a mat along with this. I live in an old building with original wood floors, and I noticed that the wheels were scuffing the surface after only a couple days. I'm not sure if this is really a fault of the chair or the old age of the flooring, but be prepared to invest another $30 in a mat to prevent making marks. Overall, a perfectly good chair for an unbeatable price. Would be great for someone just using it a couple hours a day, or a university student setting up his/her first apartment. ... show more
