I am astounded at how well this vacuum actually worked. I will start by saying I usually don't buy Amazon brand products because they remind me of like the dollar store products. You know good for a couple uses and then pretty much garbage. But I will say my vacuum was just dropped off I opened it up and immediately used it cuz my vacuum broke two days ago. I was flabbergasted at actually how much suction this little vacuum has. I normally buy Bissell because they do help you know pets in need and they do make better products same with Hoover but I didn't want to spend that much on a vacuum right now especially when I'm going to buy another one in the near future but it is more of industrial. But as for this little guy holy cow. I read the reviews and I normally don't trust reviews cuz you know too many Bots but the reviews for this vacuum are actually very spot on. I have a number of pets and it sucked all the pet hair up kitty litter off the floor it worked amazingly on my carpet and then I moved it to the linoleum it worked amazing there moved it to the tile and hardwood floor absolutely amazing. The cord all so great usually I have to unplug and move the vacuum around the house a number of times and this one I did not I only had to plug it in twice maybe three times to move around. But this is absolutely amazing super long cord super great product I am actually really amazed at how great of a product this is and I would highly recommend if you're looking for a low cost vacuum that actually can do the job this is your vacuum. I paid the same price for a Dirt Devil or whatever basically the same size absolute trash had to unplug it 15 million times barely had any suction and cost me exactly the same price. Now it's sitting on my porch cuz it broke and it's garbage. But if you're looking for a great vacuum for a low price this is definitely it I I highly highly recommend this out of anything that I've purchased off of Amazon that is an actual Amazon product. Oh and it's super lightweight you can pick it up and move it around with one hand so it's small enough to fit just shove it in a closet great size.

So my amazing Shark finally expired and I needed some not so big vacuum for my upper level. I saw this and decided to try since people say it has strong suction. I tried it three times and so far so good. Suction is NOT as strong as the full size big vacuum that is for sure but I would say it is still pretty high up there maybe within 85 percent of full strongest vacuum I had. So that is still pretty good. I did like the price as I did not want to spent more then around 70 bucks for a vacuum and I don't intend for it to last forever , iif it will delvier us 4.. 5 years that is pelnty as we have pets and we feel like new vacuum is a way to go every few years as n o matter filters and cleaning inside, there always is some bio films that form over the yaears then spread the smells and yuck with the outgoing air over the house so I just like to retire vacuum every few years for that reason. It does great job on the carpet and great job on the wood, it is not one of those who sucks up from the wood in front and spits out on the back so you go crazy :). It is LIGHT WEIGHT.. that is VERY important as most vacuums are designed by the guys for the guys maybe? I don't know as they weight a tone and make huge noise to make you feel they are strong when they are not so this one has none of this decpetive practices . it is just what you see is what you get.. it is smaller then full size vacuum but bigger then small ones so it is medium size but good decent size it is very easy to manouver while it is not wobly type that you can tilt I do not need that so I am good. It is very cute as normally I hide my vacuum this time I decided to keep it in the corner of a small bathroom as it is darn cut and looks like a toy. The quality is nice and it looks like it will work for few good years. I bought six bucks warranty just in case. I would say if you are thinking about this go for it and give it a try. There is no assembly as such no tools no screws no tricks.. just pop the handle stick in a hole on the base and you good to go.. so far very happy with it.

This is the best vacuum that I have ever owned . This vacuum is so affordable and works better than any other expensive vacuum that I have had . It's so lightweight but so powerful. The suction is amazing . It's easy to empty without a mess. I used this on floor and carpet both were so clean when I was done .

After reading the reviews for the Amazon Basics Bagless Vacuum Cleaner, I decided to purchase to replace my eight year old malfunctioning Bissell. The Amazon Basic is compact, with plenty of suction power. It is lightweight and is easy to handle and store, plenty of cord length. The bagless dust canister holds ample material and empties easily. There are also a couple of onboard tools for various cleaning tasks. There is no carpet/floor level adjustment, but this hasn’t been a problem for me. I am generally happy with the machine and the price is very reasonable. if all you need is basic vacuuming performance (I have no pets), I'd say it's a good option. My only issue is with the short vacuum hose. I love the detachable extension wand/handle for reaching higher-up areas. But the short hose takes away from that convenience, causing me to actually lift the entire machine to be able to vacuum higher places. An extension hose would be a bonus.

Wow this little vacuum outperforms every other vacuum I owned. Very long cord and powerful suction. Lightweight and compact, easy to use. Handle doubles as an extension when using the hose and makes it so much easier to use the brush and crevice tool attachment. Picks up everything with one pass.

This Vaccumn is great. I of course bought it for the price point and was prepared to be disappointed however that was not the case. It works fine on hardwood floor and even better on carpet. Great suction. I wish the hose extension was longer which some other people mentioned in other reviews. It’s pretty lightweight. The attachments are decent but not impressive.

This is not made for deep carpet and not sure about wood floors. It is excellent for low carpet, rugs and runners. For the money I give this a 5-star rating. It has really strong suction and picks up everything in its path. The hose attachment works great, like a mini shop vac. If you have deep carpet it may not be as good as it does not have a height adjustment...it is set on low and that is all you have. Spend a few more bucks and get one where you can adjust the height.

I don't use the word amazing lightly, but this vacuum genuinely impressed me. I own a Shark cordless vacuum and honestly thought it was doing a good job. I vacuumed my bedroom less than a week ago, then shampooed the carpet twice with my Hoover SmartWash and even picked up the visible wads of pet hair afterward. Despite all that, this vacuum still filled the canister with an incredible amount of dirt, dust, and hair. The canister photo tells the story better than I can. I also used it on the area rug shown in my photos and was shocked by how much debris it pulled out. It made me realize that while cordless vacuums are convenient, they don't always replace a full-size vacuum with strong suction. The suction power is excellent. Some people may find it harder to push on higher-pile carpet, but in my experience that resistance comes from the vacuum maintaining good contact with the carpet and delivering strong cleaning performance. There is some noise, but that's expected from a vacuum with a powerful motor. Other things I liked: Long power cord Large, easy-to-empty dust cup Lightweight design Useful onboard tools Good maneuverability Excellent performance on both carpet and hard floors I used the dusting brush attachment under a corner desk where a standard vacuum head can't reach, and it worked very well. I haven't used the crevice tool yet, but I plan to use it on my sliding glass door tracks. My only complaints are related to accessibility. Because of my disability, I wish the cord hooks extended a little farther from the body of the vacuum, as wrapping the cord can be awkward. I also wish the handle-release button were easier to reach. My workaround is to remove the crevice tool and use that to press the release. Overall, this vacuum outperformed my expectations and, surprisingly, cost me less than my Shark cordless vacuum. Based on this experience, Amazon Basics has earned a lot of respect from me. If they continue producing products at this level of quality, I'll happily purchase more of them in the future. 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
