I was pleasantly surprised at the construction, durability, ease of putting it on with the supplied extension tool. It’s well made and seems that it’ll last a long time. The color matches the umbrella cover I purchased and the patio set looks complete, even when ‘dressed for the winter’. It fits well. My prior backyard heater got full of spiders/dirt and stopped working after a year. Keeping my new one now in the garage with this cover on it I hope it will last a bit longer. It does keep the unit clean. Fits surprisingly well and the zippers appear to be OK.(a bit of a trick to figure out how it goes on the first time) Not sure how well it would help hold up outdoors, but keep my unit clean in the garage until I roll it out for use.

Similar quality to other basic covers, like the ones in Home Depot. There's a two-part zipper for the upper cone portion and an edge flap that drops down over the zipper to prevent water from entering. It lasted three summers in CO sun before needing replacement which is par for the course with most average outdoor coverings. We've gone through two of these, the Amazon price is generally better than what's in store (physical storefront).

I bought a few covers for the 3 patio heaters I have and this one is by far the thickest material which I think will last much longer. It is a bit more expensive but I think it is worth it. My dome is 34" and it fit well up top. I like that it tapers in the middle as we do have wind in our area and the ones that go straight down will catch the wind more and could topple the heater over. This cover has 2 vent flaps that allow air in so hopefully condensation will be minimal. I have a lever inside to tilt the dome and this cover worked with that. My heaters all originally came with covers for the top only. In less than 2 years they are ripping and disintegrating. I think this cover will stand up much better. Being a full length cover also means I should not get water pooled in the bottom section of the heater which is annoying when we move the heater. Bottom has velcro to pull it tighter.

I have a patio heater that I use from October thru March. The rest of the year it sits in the corner of the patio. When I last tried to fire it up, I had difficulty. I had to do some dis-assy. I found huge amount of debris inside the burner. After vacuuming the silt, dead bugs and small leaves, I tried again. Good spark and fired right up. I bought the heater from Lowes. The canvas zip cover was $39. I bought a perfect fitting replacement for half the cost. This product is well made and easy to install. Best of all, it keeps the debris out my burner and looks great.
