I purchased this heater to keep the seating area by my outdoor fireplace cozy on cool evenings. This is what I like about the heater: - it was relatively easy to assemble, but 2 people help when you get to the final assembly steps - the components seem to be well made and I had no issues with the parts - packaging and instructions were pretty solid - it took me about 30 minutes to assemble while enjoying a morning coffee - the base is wide and solid, and I've been able to move the unit on the wheels with ease - the ignition button is large and startup instructions are affixed to the unit (on the pole) We bought the black cover for the unit, and it looks great while not in use. I purchased this heater during that Summer sales event, so I am very happy that I was able to get a great unit at a very competitive price. ... show more

I just set it up and it works exactly as described. From just setting it up with my heater it looks like a good choice. I will come back in the spring to say how it did over the winter.

I"ve had this on my heater for a few months now and it seems pretty durable. I moved this outside once I got the cover and haven't had an issue with it. It has faded on top because it gets constant sun but I don't see the top so it doesn't matter to me. The rest is mostly covered so it hasn't faded. If the rest did fade I'd be a bit disappointed because it fades to a greyish dull color. I don't know how well it will do when it starts to rain. Living in Southern California we don't get a lot of rain. I'll see how it does this winter. So far I have been satisfied with the product. ... show more
