I’m really liking this garbage can. I prefer the step open type over the automated, because I don’t like a can that opens every time I walk past it, and this can is just what I was hoping for. The soft close lid is perfect. The can, itself, has a very simple and sleek look to it, which is necessary when you have to leave your garbage can out and visible. It’s very sturdy and will not tip over easily if my dog jumps up to get a sniff of what’s inside. Very nice, sleek looking trash can. The soft close lid is a nice touch. I purchased this to use for my "daycare diapers" to help contain the smell and it does just that. I can't say that it's smudge proof- but really what product is.

We’ve had issues finding a trash can that we like. This one finally fit the bill. It fits in our kitchen, it’s tall and heavy enough that our small dog can’t tip it over. It is very well built. The foot pedal makes it easy to use. We love the stainless steel color and the easy clean up.
