I highly recommend this Amazon Basics smudge resistant rectangular trash can!!! It was delivered by FedEx, boxed safely, & not even one mark, dent or scratch on it!! It is beautiful & in perfect condition!! To me, it was worth the money… to my husband… well he thinks the plastic one was just fine. haha!! The plastic one was okay, but this stainless one is gorgeous & works perfectly!! Did I mention this garbage can is perfect in all aspects? haha!!! ... show more

Very sturdy and closes quietly It holds 13 gallon bags but the only flaw is when you put the bag it comes back out when you slide the bin back Or maybe its me, but overall very good for its price

it was super pricey for me but i figured its a reputable brand and an investment. i’m very glad i made the purchase, it looks fabulous in the kitchen and is very nice quality. the slow close is a very nice touch. would recommend.

Great size for kitchens. holds a lot without taking over the space. The soft-close lid is quiet and smooth, and the stainless steel finish resists fingerprints well. Easy to clean and fits standard trash bags. Sleek and functional. The trash can is sturdy and the design is modern and appropriate for the kitchen. It’s easy to use but the pedal is touchy and it slams up quickly- hitting the counter top. It is definitely not smudge proof! I’ve had to wipe it down every day!
