Very nice, sleek looking trash can. The soft close lid is a nice touch. I purchased this to use for my "daycare diapers" to help contain the smell and it does just that. I can't say that it's smudge proof- but really what product is.

Absolutely love the quality of this. The only problem I’ve run across is the metal scratches very easy. After 2 weeks of use the top lid shows visible scratches all over from cardboard boxes and larger trash being set on top. No big deal. Still worth the price.

Great small canister it looks larger in the picture.. so don’t be fooled! But it’s good for my needs. It’s perfect for small spaces.It cleans easily the basket inside is removable if you wanted it’s possible to store underneath but you loose the pedal to lift lid. Worthy purchase.

    • Don't use garbage bags? Put something non-slip under it, then you have a very good can for the money
It's a good looking stainless trashcan with a removable plastic liner (bucket). Great value for the 50ish bucks. But a few problems: First, there is no retainer for plastic bags, so you have to lift the liner and tuck the bag under the rim. But now the bag sticks out and spoils the look. Others have solved this problem, but cost more. Second, when you operate the foot pedal, the can move back slightly (on my tile floor). It ends up getting close to the wall or cabinets, and when you open the lid, it hits the wall. If next to a cabinet, it hits the drawer handles and dents the lid. Mine now has several dents, and a black garbage bag forming a ruffle around the top. Not really the luck I was going for. If you don't use garbage bags and put something non-slip under it, then you have a very good can for the money. ... show more
