this is a great garbage can I can use my foot ,I can lift the lid or I can leave it opened .it looks great.I really like the inside liner.I have had a lot of garbage cans over the decades and this is the best.

I’m really liking this garbage can. I prefer the step open type over the automated, because I don’t like a can that opens every time I walk past it, and this can is just what I was hoping for. The soft close lid is perfect. The can, itself, has a very simple and sleek look to it, which is necessary when you have to leave your garbage can out and visible. It’s very sturdy and will not tip over easily if my dog jumps up to get a sniff of what’s inside. I am very pleased with this trash can. My old can was also stainless silver but it had a plastic lid which eventually cracked at the hinges after approximately 10 good years of service. Even though this can is the same height as well as width as my old can, it is a little deeper (Front to Back) than the old one. Therefore, the bags fit better and the bags fill up better because you have enough room where you don't have to keep packing the trash down with your hands. You know what I mean. The can is very neat looking in my kitchen and the lid is very quiet when closing. I highly recommend this can if you're in search of one. As advertised. ... show more

Sturdy excellent quality. Step pedals mechanism to open lid is quiet. Lid automatically closes slowly and quiet. Odor swallow lid. Removable plastic liner if you want to clean it. Takes 13 gal bags. No slid floor gripper base. I recommend.

So I have a small bar area in my kitchen with just enough room for one stool/seat and this trash can! The stainless steel is so far smudge resistant and I like that a regular 13gal trash bag fits inside and I can just fill it then pop it out when it gets full enough for the bin and then pull it out to get a little more mileage filling it the rest of the way. It appears to be well made and again seems smudge resistant so far! A good buy! ... show more
