Purchased this for my in-laws to replace their old can with a detachable lid, totally worth it! The foot petal feels sturdy, we “pounded” on it a bit to make sure it will hold up to constant use. The bin is super easy to get it and out! The only downfall in my opinion is how slowly the self closing lid closes. It’s not fast enough where it can be done and just left if our dog is around. It closes too slower to stop her from trying to sneak her head in for a garbage snack. Overall though, super happy

I wish I had purchased this sooner! We needed an upgrade because the dog kept getting in the open top trash can. I also have littles so a soft close lid is nice. I also like that you can manually push it down if its closing too slowly (if a dog is trying to nudge their nose in there hypothetically). One thing I don't care for is that you have to lift the "liner" part of the trash can out to get the bag in or out - but honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. I've seen other reviews mention that you can see the bag sticking out but if you put it on just right I haven't found this to be a problem :)

I bought this on a whim when our old trashcan cracked and it was the best choice! This really doesn't mention anything about odor blocking, but it really reduced any lingering food smell (not rotten or anything, just the general garbagey-food smell). It also maintains its 'smudgeproof' claim most of the time, unless i grab the lid while my fingers a EXTREMELY greasy... Honestly kind of want one for every room in the house now

Hands free trash can that’s large and easy to use. Recommend the liner. Rarely have to clean inner receptacle due to liner. Would be very difficult, due to weight and awkwardness without the liner. Nice stainless appearance. Good purchase.

Perfect size as it sits up against the wall. The insider bin is just a bit hard to put back into place as the lid does not stay fully open. Wish it had an actual handle in the back as others I used in the past. And, it didn’t come with instructions. I believe that the lid can stay open, but not sure. Ideal bin for our kitchen. Had trouble with our previous battery operated one but this one is much easier to use. One gripe is the bin was dented half way down the left hand side. I assume this happened in transit. Anyway I would certainly recommend it for your kitchen or garage.
