The Ring Battery Doorbell Pro is hands down the best video doorbell I’ve used. The video quality is crystal clear with its 1536p HD+ resolution, and the head-to-toe view lets me see packages on the ground and visitors from top to bottom—no blind spots at all. The 3D Motion Detection is incredibly accurate and really helps cut down on unnecessary alerts. What really impressed me was that it comes with a wedge mount included, which made installation super easy. I was able to tilt the doorbell just right to get the perfect viewing angle without having to buy any extra mounting hardware. That little detail saved me time and money. The Two-Way Talk with Audio+ is loud and clear, and the battery life has been solid. I paired mine with a solar charger and haven’t had to worry about recharging since. 1) On 5GHz: ring camera is getting 52 rssi 2) On 2.4GHz: ring camera is getting 38 rssi 5GHz doesn't do a very good job going threw walls very well at all. Video was somewhat choppy looking SD while it would film. I switched back to 2.4GHz and now the video is not choppy at all and looks way more clear HD. It just works way better on 2.4GHz. Other than that is a great doorbell camera that does everything.

Review for Ring Battery Doorbell Pro I absolutely love the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro! I purchased this one to replace my previous Ring doorbell, which unfortunately got lost during a move, and I’m so glad I did. The newer version with the Bird’s Eye View feature is incredible—it gives me such a detailed perspective and adds even more security to my home. It was super easy to install, and I really like that this model is easier to charge if you can’t wire it to your home. The improved battery life is another big plus compared to the previous model, although it does take several hours to fully charge. That said, once charged, it lasts a good amount of time. The motion detection is always up-to-date and reliable, and it connects seamlessly to my WiFi. It’s a fantastic addition to my home and makes me feel more secure. I’m such a fan of Ring products that I also purchased indoor cameras for the house, and they’ve been just as impressive. If you’re considering this doorbell, I highly recommend it—it’s worth every penny!

Overall I am satisfied with the purchase so far. Mainly got this due to the larger aspect ratio (head to toe) support. I tried the standard Ring Battery Doorbell (2024) and the image quality was poor on that one, but this one it was much better. The standard one had a washed out image, where this one remained clearer in brighter sunlit areas. The birds eye view is neat, however the distance that it can detect motion is vastly decreased in this mode (maybe 15 to 25 feet out at best. Pros: - Great aspect ration allows you to see the entire doorstep - Advanced features are nice, but a bit gimicky due to limited distance - Better picture quality than previous versions (Video Doorbell 2, and Battery Doorbell) - Easy install Cons: - Not smartthings compatible - A bit thick and bulky, same as older units but would have been nice to see this in a slimmer body - Lack of color options to purchase (you can only get the silver and then have to buy all other color plates seperately). However they sell the standard in both silver and bronze, but not the pro version. - Motion detection distance is very short for advanced features (birdseye) - Fit and finish is not as good with corner unit as the Video Doorbell 2

What can I say other than this is a superb investment in home security. We had tried Blink, and after a while, the entire system - indoor and outdoor cameras - failed to recognize our internet. Customer support was no help, so I started looking for replacements. And, as we've all heard of Ring, figured I would give it a try. First with the wired indoor camera. Picture was PERFECT. high quality and no issues connecting to the network. Got a second one for the other room and same thing. So, why NOT get the doorbell camera? Install was a breeze, only required drilling a larger hole to get the wiring through, and hook up and connection was outstanding. Actually had to turn the settings DOWN a bit because it picked up every little activity that took place in the range we had it set at. Being able to see, hear, talk, and record safely is a great feeling. And being able to tailor the settings, zone, and sensitivity is not only easy, it's intuitive. GREAT investment!
