I'm very happy with these pans. I have had Teflon-coated pans and they never seem to remain non-stick for very long despite being careful with them. I have tried other anodized pans and ceramic-coated pans but none compared to the quality and non-stick properties of these. These pants are sturdy, durable and very non-stick. The handles are not the most comfortable but they are strong. There are two fasteners inside the pan that connect the handle to it. The fasteners are not non-stick but overall the pans are terrific. We did get these on a discounted price during the holidays. But I totally recommend these pans. They have such even cooking. It's so amazing and they're thick, so if you have to run to the bathroom, you're not going to burn out your PAN. Right? So that's a big help too, but they just cook really, really well love like cooking steaks or fish.You know, okay, the things in these pans, and they work really, really well ... show more

First off these are really nice pans. They have a solid weight, solid build, they stack and store great and so far they cook evenly. I read a lot of the reviews stating that the handles were the worst part about the pans and I thought to myself "how bad can they actually be!?". Let me tell you....they are awful!! Your hands hurt trying to lift them because whoever designed them had zero idea what they were doing and they were hopefully fired. I can't believe they allowed this design to pass and get distributed into the public. There is no comfort whatsoever using these pans. But other than that they work great so far for cooking. Maybe I can find some sort of handle cover? ... show more

I bought these after a good deal of research, perhaps the most important thing I learned being, when buying non-stick, don't spend too little and don't spend too much. Too little gets you pans without good mass (for distributing and holding heat) and possibly a finish that won't last. Too little is just silly. non-stick pans last 3 to 5 years even if you take really good care of them... spending more doesn't change this. So I like All -Clad as a company and these products are priced about right. They've proven good and durable and I like the steel base. Very solid. One thing to mention though: These are NOT good omelet pans as the shape doesn't allow easy flipping and sliding as you likely want to do for an omelet. I bought a separate 8" omelet pan from another brand for that. ... show more
