Looks good, high quality and easy to use! Even when iv lost power it stays on! The color and brightness are perfect! Easy to see but doesn’t cause extra light in the bedroom while trying to sleep! I have been on the hunt for a perfect alarm clock for a lot of years. I just returned two from a different brand to Amazon before this purchase. I had a very good alarm clock many years ago from Spartus but it didn't have a battery back-up, something that is a must where I live because we have a lot of power outages. I can sometimes be hard to wake because I sleep in spurts due to injuries that I sustained in the service, so it must be loud enough. I took a chance and bought two of these. It checks all the boxes. It has a dimmable display, crisp easy to see digits that aren't to large but easy to see, volume adjustment for the alarm and dual alarms. This alarm is loud so if you are a sound sleeper it will wake you up. I really like the blue color of the digits. I set it for a doctors appt. this morning and there is an added bonus. When it sounds the alarm there is a red dot that projects on the ceiling that is foot or so wide and it flashes on and off with the alarm. So you get the audio from the alarm and the visual from the red light. I rarely write a review on a product but this one deserves it. It is well thought out and I honestly can't think of anything to improve on. Whether it is reliable and lasts is yet to be seen, but otherwise it is a great alarm clock and I think my search is over. ... show more

I bought this over a year ago (last June; it's now November) for no reason because it was pretty. I was determined to use this as an extra clock and I did. I do also appreciate the extra 2 USB ports to charge small electronics. Last month, this clock started making thudding sounds, so I changed the coin battery. The noise went away, but now the digital numbers aren't displayed correctly. For example, in the hour position, "4" is missing its stem, so it looks like a lower case "u," and subsequently, "5" looks like an underlined lower case "c." In the tenth minute position, "3" is missing its middle (it fades in and out), so it looks like a backwards capital "C." To add context, the dimmer setting is always set to level 7, which is the brightest. At this point, unless you want to continue to use this as a gold tinted mirror by turning the dimmer setting to "off" so no time displays at all, then this is trash. ... show more
