At the time of this review, this necklace is only $14, but the quality is similar to high-end department store jewelry. I ordered the “Knot” style. The chain and the pendant are both smooth to the touch and have good weight to them. The gold is bright, but not brash or cheap looking. The chain is beautiful and hangs well. The length is just under 18” and has a 3” extender, so it works well with a variety of my tops and sweaters, v-necks, crew necks, and turtlenecks. Just FYI, the pendant cannot come off of the chain, the opening is just a fraction too small for the end of the chain to pass through. I’m a little disappointed in this, simply because the chain is so nice I was hoping to use it for other pendants as well. Overall, if you are looking for a classy gold pendant necklace without spending a lot, this is a good choice. I have worn it many times and it still looks great. I am super pleased with this one.

This necklace is one of those pieces that instantly elevates an outfit. The irregular oval pendant gives it a modern, slightly artsy look, and the chunky snake chain feels sturdy without being heavy. I really like the chunky interlocking design pendant. It is not very heavy so it will be comfortable to wear. I thought the interlocking ovals would move, but they do not. They are attached by a metal piece on the back side. Please see the photo. That is fine with me, that way there is no distraction by any movement. The reason I took one star off is because of the snake style chain. It does not lay entirely smooth. I think that is one of the disadvantages of a lot of snake style chains. I do also notice a small surface imperfection on the chain. Hopefully the chain and the pendant will maintain its finish for a long time.

I usually do not have high hopes for jewelry from Amazon but this piece has surprised me and surpassed my expectations. I chose the irregular oval style and I am happy with my choice. The chain feels sturdy and is wearable in several different lengths. The pendant feels weighty, slides across the chain easily and doesn’t snag. The gold tone isn’t brassy or fake looking. The clasp isn’t hard to open and close. I found the size of the piece to be exactly what I was looking for. It’s not a huge statement piece but it’s also not a tiny dainty thing. It has visual impact and adds a polish to an outfit. I can wear it to work or for a nice dinner and it’s appropriate in either instance. The current price is about $14 and honestly, it’s worth that and more given it doesn’t fade and lose luster quickly. If it does, at that price point, it won’t break the bank to replace it.

This knotted necklace looks expensive. The pendant is my right size for wearabilty with my winter sweaters. The extension section of the snake chain can be clasped anywhere! You aren't limited to a few length choices, you can hook it at whatever length you desire within those inches. The weight is not heavy. Worth the price, IMO.
