I'm 5'0" and this chair is a good size for me. I was amazed at how even pink chairs marketed at 'gamer girls' still have huge dimensions, but this one is actually small and ergonomic. I do have some minor complaints, which were not a deal-breaker since this is the only good option on the market, and it's pretty solid. -The lumbar pillow is too large. They clearly reused the design from a bigger chair and did nothing to fit it to this one. The straps are even too long. I may do a little surgery on it, since the chair definitely needs one. -The white arms and base are going to get grubby with time and use. Since they didn't bother making the wheels or mechanical covers white, doubtless because other models use the same ones, it just looks cobbled together instead of cohesive. I wish there were at least one option with all black hardware instead. -The instructions were extremely vague, but there aren't that many parts and it went together easily once I tossed them. Overall this is a serious, comfortable chair for the small gamer or remote professional, and I am happy with it so far. ... show more

Has a lot of features like adjustable height on the base and armrests (that turn as well), the lumbar support pillow is nice, same goes for the neck pillow but the instructions on how to attach them are a little unclear and do better with a complete example than visual only instructions (head to the site, AKRacing, to find all the different angles). It went great with my setup and feels better than the larger chairs (this specific line is for petites!). After being assembled, which didn't take that long really, it was ready to go. It does have the smell of new paint which has faded after a week. I was afraid of damage but there was none. It does come in a giant box that's hard to move for one person so try to prepare for some else helping you bring it in. No complaints here! Very satisfied. ... show more

I'm short and have trouble finding gaming chairs that are comfortable and have a neck rest low enough for me to actually use. This chair is rated the best chair for short people and this is why I bought it (I'm 5'1). I love this chair! The padding on the chair is great! It's super comfortable. It's great for gaming or kicking back and watching a movie. I highly recommend this chair! I only wish that I could've gotten it either in a dark crimson red or black that way it would match my office. ... show more

Chair came easy to assemble. Quality feels up to par. So far the chair is comfortable enough to support good habits of sitting upright. Doesn't allow to be used as a chair to curl up in like my old Serta gaming chair, but honestly that's for the best since I always end up having a strained back. I am not a gamer, nor am I a racing fan. But I am a small person - 5'3", 110 pounds. Standard desk chairs left me with a back ache and neck pain. The AKRacing California Gaming Chair, Tahoe fits me well and is very comfortable and supportive. No more pain from spending long hours at my computer desk! I almost sent it back because when it arrived, it had a very strong and (to me) unpleasant new car scent. The odor went away after a while and now I'm very happy with this chair. ... show more

Great chair! I'm 4'10" and needed something that actually fit my body. Easy to assemble, nice material, and very, very comfy. Taking a star off due to the arm rests being harder than I prefer, and because the chair that I was shipped has imperfections. The white paint on the metal base of the chair came scuffed, and some of the material along a seam low on the backrest came torn (it can't be seen now that the chair is set up and I didn't get a pic). Just a buyer beware, since I did think the discount between here and the official AK site was too good to be true. ... show more

I'm a petite women (5'0" ) and did alot of research on which chair would be ergonomically correct for someone my height. I even emailed the company to confirm this chair would be the correct size for me. Unfortunately, in the lowest possible position my toes only touch the ground...definitely not ergonomically correct as stated by the company. The seat and especially the arm rests could have a better cushion and be more comfortable. You can lean back and lock in that position but can not rock. The wheels seem to be cheap...if they were to break the whole chair would be worthless. My husband didn't seem to have any issues putting the chair together. I hope this helps. ... show more
