  • Pet Hair? What Pet Hair?
Size: Vacuum size: L13.8 x W 13.8 x H3.7 Color: Black
I’m honestly blown away by how good this robot vacuum and mop combo is. I have one cat that sheds a lot and two dogs, so keeping my floors clean used to be a constant chore. Now, this little machine does all the work for me! The suction is super powerful, it picks up every bit of fur and dust, and the mopping feature actually leaves the floor shiny, not just damp like some other ones I’ve tried. The mapping is really smart; it learns the layout fast and doesn’t bump into furniture. The self-emptying feature is amazing too. I can go almost two months without touching it! The app makes it super easy to schedule cleanings, and being able to control it through Alexa is the cherry on top. I’ve had it for a while now, and it’s been running like a champ. My house looks cleaner than ever, and I barely have to do anything. If you’ve got pets and want your floors spotless without the effort, this is totally worth it. ... show more

  • customer service reached out offering full refund without returning
Size: Vacuum size: L13.8 x W 13.8 x H3.7 Color: Black
2nd update: with the right liquid in the chamber it mops great., the high water level helps with the stubborn spills or mud tracks ,suction is still the best , customer service reached out.. willing to compensate for my displease, that's awesome. 1st Update: it's been a few days and the vacuum part the sweeping part works really well.. the mop not so much it leaves streaks on the floor and it doesn't really scrub anything that's stuck to the floor it'll just pass over it and probably make a bigger mess than before.. a mop is just wetting the floor essentially without actually any powerful weight going over whatever you wanted to pick up I guess if you wanted to mop upa spill left behind it's great ..but if you have little scuffs on the floor it's not going to do anything you'll have to manually get rid of those. I really wanted to love it because I liked the way it sweeps but the mopping part of it I rather just mop manually and clean the floor the way I like to do which is disappointing considering that it was almost $500 works really well, leaves floors clean from pet hair , with a cat and two dogs there's hair everywhere. so its nice to not have to sweep. Bot is heavier than my last ,feels sturdy loved the map feature and the pin and go ..suction is great although when it empties it scares my cat LOL ..pricey, but worth it to me.. it will get stuck more frequently if your room set up in not tidy before cleaning starts so pick up miscellaneous, its a robot not a magician .the map is an awesome feature if you want to see exactly how its cleaning and where. take off the damp mop after it finishes and wash ,in my opinion if you mop with a dirty rag you have a dirty floor ... show more

  • Great Little Vacuum
Size: Vacuum size: L13.8 x W 13.8 x H3.7 Color: Black
I love this little vacuum! I've had it for about 8 months and its still runs great. It is essential to my cleaning routine. I have a german shepherd and he sheds A TON and this vacuum helps me maintain a fluff free home. It does not completely take the place if regular vacuuming but does help for the in between. It has pretty decent suction. its not meant to pick up things larger than a cheerio. For about 1200sq ft it has pretty good battery life. I don't use the mop function so I cannot speak on that. But as a vacuum I would recommend. The App is pretty easy to navigate too. ... show more

  • Tough love or just plain tough to love?
Size: Vacuum size: L13.8 x W 13.8 x H3.7 Color: Black
I'm going to be brutally honest here. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and yesterday and earlier today I cheerily and optimistically opened up the package to use it for the first time. Here are some of my first thoughts. The boxing was rather nice. It came with one or two extra mops, two extra bags and extra HEPA filters. All of that was a pleasant surprise because nowadays products sometimes are received incomplete or with just a very basic supply and so you'd have to buy the replacement filters or bags instantly. I was glad they thought of the customer experience here. Now we get to setting up the device for the first use. There were no clear markings on the robot vacuum. I had to guess based on experience that the metal contacts are to align with the contacts on the base. The base itself was easy enough to plug in. Instantly the vacuum started to charge with breathing orange lights. Because markings on the surface of either device are few and far in between, I had no clue what breathing orange light is supposed to indicate. It only gets worse from here. Under the lid of the base unit, there are some illustrations that show different steps. However, both the positioning and the sizing of the letters are so small that I could not read it. Eventually, I had to flip through the manual to find what breathing orange light meant. There are about five different patterns and colorations for the lights and they mean different things but I'll be darned if I can tell you what's going on. In the manual, it explains that the product is best to use if I download the app and pair the device. So I searched for the app and I searched in the manual for instructions on how to pair the app. This is the smoking gun. None of the surfaces of the vacuum or of the base station. Is there a code that takes me to the app on the app stores. For a product where in the manual it says that it was meant to be used with the app, it should be more than abundantly clear that I should download the app and from where. I'll give a point of contrast here. I have a smart deadbolt. I installed it not that long ago. In the instruction manual and in the Quickstart guide on the deadbolt itself and inside the deadbolt itself are QR codes that take me to the app. I could not open the box before I was face-to-face with a QR code with very large words that instructed me to install the app because it was necessary for the operation of the device. On this here vacuum, I had to figure it out by experimentation. Let me repeat this. The manual asks you to download the app and to pair the device. And the manual does not give instructions on how to do either of those. On the product website, there is a video on how to do pairing so here is my next point. If it is so hard to do such a fundamental and necessary step that it takes a video to explain it then it was probably not designed quite right. In fact, just because the fonts are so small and there are no clear markings for which are latches and which are not, it shows that these guys have no idea what usability is. A book called How to Design Everyday Things was published more than a decade ago. None of the folk at Airrobo clearly have heard of it or considered opening its cover. On the robot, there are two buttons, labeled home and power. To pair, you'd have to hold both buttons down for three seconds. Without a manual, no one would have guessed that. Heck, with the manual, it would not be possible BECAUSE THE MANUAL DOESN'T TELL US!!! For comparison, my latest headphones have a button clearly marked for pairing. I took that out of its package, turned it around identified a button as clearly for power (by its visible marking) and then recognized the pair button. You ask, how does it work? Well, I ran it. I had to fetch the remote, which by the way, is necessary not optional. I pressed the Play button and off it went. Not ten minutes later, it complained that it was stuck on the rug in the middle of my bedroom. The reviews I studied explained that this robot recognized when the mop attachment was installed and will avoid carpets and rugs. Nevertheless, here was the robot vacuum lights blinking everywhere stranded on my rug, and I checked that verily the mop attachment was installed. Here are my conclusions from the first use. It failed to avoid carpet. The lack of buttons on either device and clear indications of what buttons do and what lights mean is a failure. The manual not covering a very important procedure, which it requires the user to do is another failure. The only thing they got right was put the vacuum in the box with extras of the consumable accessories! For a few hundred dollars, they should have been able to do more than that. I expect more than that. At the least ... there are so many basic misses! There is no one thing they needed to do better. Like what thought process led them to think that showing a sequence of steps under a lid in 9 pt font is satisfactory? Just another one... in the base, after you open the lid, there is a disposable bag for vacuum dirt. Under the bag, there is a cap that you can unscrew. I couldn't spot any labels or markings for what is supposed to go into the exposed tank after I unscrew the cap. It was clearly meant for an end user. No labels. No pictures. No explanations in the manual. ... show more
