We use this for a lot of our cooking as the oven makes it too hot in our home combined with hot weather. We've had it for a couple of months and we haven't had any issues yet. The preset settings are great but it does allow you to manually set the temperature and time as well. Depending on how full you stuff the basket, you do need to increase the cooking time quite a bit, we've noticed but if you're willing to do smaller batches, this isn't an issue. ... show more

However, I just said it to the proper temperature and proper time which I found as much easier. My nutritionist suggested an air fryer because I have a hard time making meals during my bad episodes of depression. This product has absolutely exceeded my expectations. Easy to clean, cooks food fast, and the end results are always delicious! I just use regular off brand parchment paper cut or torn to size, and that basically takes care of most messes. If something gets on or under the grate it basically wipes off. Some unexpected things to cook: Steak 100/10, Chicken breast 10/10, Salmon 10/10, and basically any frozen foods that can be traditionally fried or baked on a sheet pan. ... show more

I love my air fryer! As someone who lives alone and is a not a foodie, nor likes too cook, I had wanted an air fryer for awhile, but was worried it would fall by the wayside like my onepot and other cooking tools I bought thinking “if I have this, I’ll start cooking”. Ha! The cycle was broken on this one. I love it to cook and reheat. It is easy to use and clean and I love that it takes way less time to cook things, part of why I hate cooking. In fact, it took me awhile to figure out chicken breasts b/c I kept overcooking it. Potatoes and veggies are so much quicker to make. Two main complaints, which aren’t deal breakers. I wish it had more instructions on how long to cook things. There are settings etched in the cooker, but it’s missing some basics. Also, It is kind of small. I am one person, so it works okay, but if you are cooking a lot, you may want it bigger. I try and leave space for the air to come through, but you can also overlap a little in things like veggies. You can also use with tinfoil. It works like an oven which I love in the summer because it keeps my kitchen from getting too hot since I don’t have an a/c unit in my kitchen.
