Our Aiper Robot pool cleaner came with a hook such as this. However, the hook was attached to our skimmer pole, and both (along with our pool) were destroyed in a tornado. Our robot was in the house charging at the time, so it survived the huge tree that fell into the pool. Insurance paid for a replacement pool, but we forgot that we couldn’t retrieve our robot from the pool without its hook (unless we got into the pool, but the water was frigid). So, we bought this new hook, which works to perfection. You have to have a pole with holes close to the top (about 1/2” down) for the hook to work, though, as the hook’s retractable buttons need to fit into those holes. We found a pole that we already had that would only work if we drilled new holes into it - which we did. So now we can easily remove our robot, which does a most beautiful job of cleaning our pool!

Got the pool vacuum and the top clip was broken, immediately sent it for a replacement. The replacement I received was used and dirty with the same clip broken, the power cord cut in multiple places.

We have a 34ft kidney shaped inground pool and the Orca 800 went through it like it was on steroids. The factory adjustment didn't work at all, kept getting stuck in certain areas. When I played with the adjustment and settled on 40-20, it performed flawlessly and climbed slopes with ease . Review critics of this product with a grain of salt. If it's not covering your pool, make gradual adjustments, it'll be fine. Enough said.

Used one time and sent back. Did a really good job but like others said the hose twists up so bad it can't move around. I thought, oh it can't be that bad but it takes longer to untwist the hose than it does to use it. It says swivel, but doesn't actually swivel, it's very bendy but that doesn't keep it from twisting up.

I purchased this to help me pull my aqua bot, dolphin robot cleaner out of the pool, and it works great. I cannot use it to pull the cleaner completely out, but I can raise it to the surface or I can more easily grab it and pull it out. As an added, plus it works great For pulling oranges off the top of my orange tree lol.

I just didn't think that I had a need for some of the really high end, heavy duty pool vaccums like Dolphin or Polaris. For reference, i have a 27ft round above ground pool and I don't have any large trees in my yard, front or back. Sure, we get the occasional leaf or debris that blows in the wind but nothing that I couldn't just pick up with a net or by hand. What I wanted this vaccum for is the crap my kids drag in on their feet and cottonwood that sinks to the bottom. Basically just sediment. This vaccum has a very hard time with that.... I've sat and watched it roll over small piles that have settled to the bottom and it just blows the sediment back into the pool, producing little dark clouds as it rides away. Now to be fair, when I pull the vaccum out of the pool after a 3hr cycle, there is some stuff inside that needs to be rinsed out so it IS picking something up, just not enough in my opinion. There is also an issue I noticed where it doesn't complete a full run from one side of my pool to the other. It will make it to the middle, stop, and then start going right back to where it started which is really annoying, especially when it was just about to roll over something that you wanted removed. I just dont think its worth what i paid for it so I'll be returning it and trying something else.

So thankful for this cord as no one in the family seems to remember where the old one got put at the end of last season! This cord doesn’t look as pictured, but it works!! If your vacuum plugs in on the bottom though, you won’t be able to set it flat while charging as this cord comes straight out, and not out at a 90° like the picture. Minor issue though.
