I bought these due to a lack of lightening when prepping and cooking food for my family. I had bought other lighting systems for stumbling across this gem. The lighting is bright when needed with a great dimming feature that is ideal for not stumbling in the dark when needing to make a late night visit for a glass of water. I was worried they wouldn’t last that long but I bought them several years ago and only recently did a piece go out that is offered as a replacement part directly ok the makers sight. My only minor complaint is that the length of the extra cord was excessive and I wished they offered shorter cords as it was a little bit hard figure out what to do with the excess so it wasn’t visible that easily. ... show more

Yes... you are going to have trouble hiding the wires. I actually ordered these as a second set to add to the first order, but, the black wire set (this one) will not connect up with the white wire set (previous one). Both are Aiboo. I really liked the set up of the white wire ones but black wire is easier to hide. THIS SET, (black) will not connect lights end to end. Each wire has to run back to the main connection point (there are 2). The lights are nice and well made. I wish you could pick the wire color, but, alas, the closets look much better with them and now I have 2 closets done. ... show more

Bought this 8 puck, after previously buying 2x 6puck and 1x 8puck sets a year ago. Those 3 existing purchases have been working fine since purchase. However, this time, this 8puck set, the included power supply died within 1 month of use. Bought in October, died in November. The power supply dying would cause the lights to flicker and power off/on rapidly. Exchanged via Amazon in November, now mid December, the replacement unit is dead too, with the same symptoms.
