    • Adjustable Magnetic Resistance better than found on cheap alternates
I would call this a mid-range exerciser that clearly beats the cheaper ones, and falls short of much more expensive professional grade exercisers. Foots straps are useless unless you have are wearing small shoes or have small feet. My foot is 10-1/2 to 11 normal width and I have to use the exerciser without shoes and without straps (like when we were kids riding a bicycle). Adjustment for exercise resistance does not put the kind of drag on peddling effort that one might want. However, this exerciser would have to be bolted down to accommodate a higher setting. So the adjustment range is about right when considering the weight & cost of the product. BTW, if it's cranked up all the way, the exerciser tends to shift and move as one pedals. The rubber non-slip mat really helps with some of the sliding issues (we use exerciser on thick area rug). Instructions for LCD display unit does not adequately explain how to set different display modes. By trial an error, we do the following to reset the display and lock it to show exercise time: -- Hold red button down for several seconds until all LCD segments in the display are shown. -- Immediately next, briefly press the red button to lock the display reading (bottom number) so that it reads 0:00 (mins:secs). The machine itself is very nice and took about 10 minutes to install. The LED screen is okay — it’s a little dim to read and I’m still figuring out how to change and reset the numbers on the screen. But I don’t really care since I use my fitness watch to track my heart rate and time. Depending on your resistance, the machine does kinda move back and forth (using the mat provided helps) since your legs are pushing against the pedals. I like using the stationary bike at the gym so I bought this to use while doing things at home. My desk is too short for my legs while using this so I just use it with a desk chair and it seems to work. One of the only flaws is the pedals, it does kinda hurt if you have curved feet so I wish the pedals were bigger and had a flat surface, like a normal bike pedal. ... show more

    • Nice little peddling machine
The media could not be loaded. I do like this "mini bike". It feels very solid, and very well built. There is a manual knob that when turned, increases or decrease the resistance when pedaling. This adjustment works well and is very smooth. Also, it is very quiet when pedaling (I included a short video clip hoping to demonstrate the quiet sound level and also show how easy it is to pick up the bike). It is of course compact, and can fit easily under a desk or table. The pedals are designed so that they can also be used to pedal with hands. Assembly is minimal and is very easy (tool is included to tighten fasteners). My only negative is that the LED screen does not light up. At times it can be a little hard to read because of this. It would be really cool if the LED readout was removable, so you could sit it on your desk or table and watch it when cycling. ... show more

This little this is a handy little exercise tool. You can pedal while sitting down and performing other activities. The mechanism makes peddling very smooth. I also use it to exercise my arms. Very convenient and doesn’t take up much room.
