These worked GREAT, as good my expensive Clipmasters, for 3 small (11.2) pony clips, then the cord gave out. Clipped professionally for 25+ yrs. Retired and just have one aged pony, thought these would work. Great clippers that gave out with a defect after 3 clips.

Super heavy duty! Trims my dogs hair so easily and quickly. Only downside is they are a little loud and overheat pretty easily so we have to stop halfway during the trim so we don’t burn her. But they cut through any matts she gets and make trimming much easier.

I had one pony that I needed to body clip. And do a trace clip on a donkey. I have been in the horse world professionally for over 50 years. Always used Oster at the show barn and at home. I have a Clipmaster and every year even if it got put away perfectly it would need new blades and a tune up. The guy that fixes them around here is an hour away. Sooo looked on Amazon and read reviews and thought for 100 dollars I’m going to take a chance. This clipper did a great job. Yes it blows a lot of hair around but I think every clippers does. Used a lot off cool Lube and oil but that is true of every clipper. It would have cost me more than that to take them in get repaired and just the time there and back. It comes in a nice hard sided case with oil a brush and two extra blades. One is for shearing So I am thrilled with this clipper and hope it stays the same until next time.

Ok, I didn't end up using these, but what came was a nice product, and I bought the more appropriate size. It says can be used for animals generally speaking. When originally looking saw using on a dog. I've owned dogs my whole life, and I am really tired of inefficient clippers that opt to remove power for quiet, hence was going to try these. These will not work on most dogs. They are simply giant. Great for horses, and other large beasts. Maybe, usable for a dogs like Great Dane size (great Danes given short hair can't see the use for them, but mention them to help with scale understanding) Saint Bernard's, or Bouvier des Flanders perhaps these would be usable. Really well built and hence bought a more appropriate size.

It said it could be used on large dogs. I have a 100 lb dog and this was too big and too heavy to use.It did not go thru his thick undercoat very well at all.I returned the item.Im sure it would probsbly work well on horses

I am so pleased with this clippers. High quality and horse worthy is exactly what I was looking for. I have Slovensky Cuvacs and live in TEXAS and it is HOT. These beauties look like great pyranes but they are a bit smaller and have very heavy coats and undercoats of long heavy white hair. These clippers are a bit heavy but not as heavy as the other reviews had me expecting. They are very easy to handle and maneuver. The noise level was fine and didn't upset the dogs or make them nervous at all. I am unable to afford a professional groomer for these pooches and this investment is a God Send.
