The primary reason I bought this adjustable weight bench instead of one of the other brands' models, is that the foot extensions are far wider than the others. This bench did not disappoint in that respect. When I did dumbbell twists, the bench didn't move at all. The gap between the seat and the back is fairly wide, so I compensated by rolling up a hand towel, duct taping the ends of the roll and shoving it in the gap. The decline has only one position and it is severe, i.e., all the way down. Since I am not doing very heavy weights, I stuck a tiny footstool under the headrest to set a much slighter decline angle (see the photo) and that works just fine for me. The bench is pretty much what I expected. It's fairly stable, however I'm no fan of the pin you put in the middle to stabilize the bench or pull out to fold the bench. The hole tolerance for the pins has too much slop and if they had spent a little more effort in that area, this would be a much better bench. The foot pad is pretty annoying for bench press. The bench should have been a little lower. I can't plant my feet flat on the ground like with a gym bench. Overall, I guess $100 isn't so bad for the bench. It's pretty stable, but not as good as adjustable commercial benches with tight tolerances you find at the gym. When you sit on the bench and get up, the bench will move. You can tell that is related to the tolerances for the pins and how well the components fold together. ... show more

Excellent bench very stable for such a light weight foldable option. I am 5'6" and use 25 lb dumbbells so I don't lift heavy but it doesn't budge when I move on it (not like my previous bench that wanted to tip over). Length is good for me and the padding is quite nice. I use this 4-5x weekly (purchased a couple of months ago). I would recommend if you have a small home gym, like I do. ... show more

I was skeptical looked at so many different benches. I was also looking one to do jump training on. Something very sturdy. All the other benches I looked on YouTube they really weren't wide enough at the bottom.. kind of cheaply made. THIS THING IS A TANK JUST LIKE IT SAYS IN THE MANUAL KEYWORD TANK!! Feels like the ones in the gym. So strong, so sturdy. One thing I was looking for that they didn't show was the dimensions of the bench.. THEY ARE WRONG IN A BAD WAY. Meaning the real measurement is actually 21 in from the ground to the top which is what I was looking for. It actually says 14 in I have no idea why they're saying this. The height of a real bench in the gym. The quality is unbelievable it feels like it can hold 880 lb!! I'm always hesitant because some products don't have many reviews like this one. BUT THIS THING SHOULD BE THE NEW BENCHMARK FOR THE PRICE!! Seriously awesome I'll be adding some pictures and videos too doing a review!! And not to mention the quality is awesome through and through including the padding, the fake leather and all that stuff. only wish it had a curl bar attachment that could go to it or something like that.. I also noticed as far as I know you can't do backwards situps using your back if you know what I mean. Can't put your legs in there doing it that way only forward. Stable, easy to use, good width. Nothing spectacular, which I guess means good at this price. The foot piece is annoying b/c it gets in the way all the time. The bench is also higher than normal benches. I am 5’10”. When I do bench press, my feet are not solid on the floor, which means I have to curl my legs up to avoid arching my back. ... show more

I ordered this bench to use with my new squat rack tower, im impressed by how sturdy it is. Works great for regular, incline, & decline bench press. You can do so much more with it too. It also has wheels on the bottom end of one side and that makes it easy to move around. Assembly was simple and easy to build, instruction Manuel is straight forward.
