This came like 2 months ago and I just never got around to putting it together bc of a surgery I had…come to find out it was sooooo easy to put together and I could have been doing “something” all along workout wise. There’s 2pegs, 3 clips, 1 knob and 4 bolts…10 minutes TOPS to put together and seriously SOLID. Very excited to use it…I think?!

Do NOT buy. Get something else of higher quality. That will mean spending more, but its worth it. Pros: - can adjust the angle - has hand holds (allowing for more exercises with the bench) - nice feeling pleather - Comes with a bench exercise poster showing some exercises you can do using the bench. Cons: - No assembly instructions, only an exploded view diagram with parts labeled. - The part packages weren't labeled, although it was plainly obvious which part went where - Its hard to get the feet bolted on. I had to use extreme pressure and the included allen key as an alignment pry tool just to get the bolt holes aligned enough to force/wedge the bolts in - Its cheaply made - It came scratched with flaking powder coat. The pleather on the top of the behind of the long section came peeling. I did not cut it while opening the box. - I can cover the pleather damage with shiny black duct brand tape although you could probably get away with wide black electrical tape. - Its almost too lightweight and not as sturdy as I would have expected. For me, at 5' & 130lbs, Its borderline unsafe to use because I'm scared it'll topple over while I'm using it or fold flat when reclined. - The quick connect pins are very hard to use, almost impossible to squeeze the end to release the pin With all that said, since this is my 1st home bench, I'll use it as a trainer/stepping stone to something better. I did contact Amazon chat support about this. The agent originally wanted me to disassemble it, box it in the original box, and return it. I complained that since the feet and hand holds cannot be removed due to poor manufacturing, I couldn't use the original box. The agent told me to find or buy a box or pay UPS for pack and ship. I told the agent I would not do that and he got his supervisor to process a refund without return for me. I'll wait and see after 5 days if the refund processes since its not showing up on my account.
