My wife watches her iPad health-focused podcasts on her treadmill sessions. She always changes speeds and elevations during her 30 minute exercises but the iPad blocked her vision and the machine's buttons so we bought this item to move her iPad up onto the existing flat screen and it works exactly as described and what she expected when we ordered it. The dimensions (posted on Amazon) were most important as the existing flat screen mounted of the treadmill was thicker than most so this unit's 3" width hangs perfectly over it.
