My dad wanted this fan light combo for his kitchen and we found it for great price here on Amazon. It has a remote control or you can use your cell phone to control the light and fan. You can also dim or change the lighting in the room with the remote and your phone.. The installation video was great and the installation of the product was simple as well. The fan and the light are just as the description says the lighting is great. The fan puts out a lot of airflow. Another great thing is you can change the airflow whether it’s up or down by the remote or your phone in seconds.. so it’s very versatile for any room in every situation that you might find like going to bed and forgetting to cut the light out or the fan off and you can use your phone to do that from the bed. So adjusting your fan speeds or your light brightness is just as described in both work very well for any room. The light is wonderful. Lights up my entire 14 ft by 17 ft bedroom, or I can turn it down to a gentle twilight. The fan in forward mode is okay for its size and blows enough air. In reverse, I almost can't feel any air movement even on high. I do wish they had designed the remote control better. The button to turn on the light should have been at the top instead of in the middle. Very hard to find it in the dark. The power button at the top will turn everything off, but does not turn the light back on. ... show more

This fan and light combo is great! At first I have to admit it was overwhelming at first glance because it's a lot of parts. However very easy to assemble and install. My husband and I are very pleased! He couldn't stop talking about it. Lots of light and love that lighting is adjustable with remote control.
